Title: Father's Day Post by: MarkInTx on June 16, 2002, 04:00:00 AM All of the bluster I've read lately reminds me of something that happened about a year ago... I was in a meeting with a bunch of Sales Engineers, and a product manager. One of the SEs was really pompous and she talked to this poor PM with such condescending tones, it was embarrassing. After the meeting, I felt so bad for the guy, that I went up to him, and actually apologized on her behalf, saying that her behavior was horrible, and that we all didn't feel that way. The guy smiles and says to me: "Mark, last week I became a granddaddy. Believe me, nothing she can say is going to bother me..." Today... the sun is shining brightly, the air is clear and fresh, and my daughter and I are heading for Lake Lewisville. And -- believe me -- nothing that was said here is bothering me. I had guys here put so much paranoia in me I did not know what to think. I found the board afer I found my wife. I was told all of these girls were prostitutes, some gu said they had been talking to my wife...........I was AFFECTED or should I say infected. Some of these guys still post occasionaly. Guess what? I have been on vacation since January! I have put on a few pounds and my wife is getting on me (not literally)! But I have taken a new twist on this eurobiz thing. I have been working with a national brokerage company to sell me commercial rights to the entire Eastern Europe. This means I would be using a recognizable name in my 'dealings'. The best thing no other peoples could buy franchises w/o going though me. We are now negotiating territories. Other than that I am sitting on the beach getting fat..................Life suks ;0) hope all is well in texas-------hotter that pig at a bar-b-que huh? need to come to the ocean my friend-nice breeze. I got a great condo for yas. well I had better get back to work! hahahahahahahahaha Joe |
