Title: Leaving Tomorrow Post by: Philb on June 05, 2002, 04:00:00 AM I take off tomorrow for a whole month in Russia. I am spending a few days in Moscow and from there I am heading to Novossibirsk, Novokuznetsk and who knows after that. I will see what happens. With the recent series of engagements here on the board......

Phil, There certainly is a rash of engagements here. Even the "old timers" like Ramblin & MarkinTx are dropping like flies. Hope you find everything you are seeking in Russia and more! Hope that you find what you're looking for this time.. (maybe you can check your board password before you leave and then post from there and let us know how things are going?) :^) Title: Mail it to yourself Post by: MarkInTx on June 06, 2002, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to Good luck Phil..., posted by BrianN on Jun 6, 2002
That's what I did. I just emailed my board password to my hotmail account, and then stuck it in a folder. That way I can get it whenever I want to, no matter where I am, because I can always pick up my hotmail mail. Interesting note, btw... When I was in Russia, I bought an internet card, and cpould hook up my laptop to the internet from my apartment. Same thing in Brazil. Same thing in Ukraine. But England...???? No dice! They all looked at me like I was crazy. They said they had never heard of an internet card before. Phone card, sure, but not an internet card. I told them about all of the places I had bought one... the response was typical British: "Oh, well, we're a third world country, you see...." Title: Re: Good luck Phil...
