Title: Text-to-Speech Post by: LTB on April 25, 2002, 04:00:00 AM Does anyone know of a text-to-speech program or engine that speaks Russian?
I would also like to find a speech-to-text program that understands Russian. Also, when using translate.ru, is it possible to force the engine to translate "you" in the singular/familiar, instead of the plural/formal forms? Thanks, LTB Title: Ectaco Language Teacher may be the best example.. Post by: BarryM on April 26, 2002, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to Text-to-Speech, posted by LTB on Apr 25, 2002

I have magic gooddy and I think it does what you want. My only problem is that it is a Russian program so I haven't figured it all out yet. I translate letters with it but don't use it to it's full potential. You also need to run it under Russian windows. I haven't figured out how to do a few things with my new version of Russian windows either. I need a competent Russian reader to help me finish setting up everything I have on my computer. But it does what I need most. If you're interested in trying it out send me an e-mail. |
