For those that are wondering (like I was) about the relative locations and distances of hotels to the US Embassy in Warsaw, reference the following link to a map of Warsaw -- http://www.ehi.com/travel/ehi/poland/hot_map1.html

The US Embassy is NOT shown, so to find it:

* locate the traffic circle near the bottom of the map.
* find the street named Mokatowska emanating like a spoke from the circle and running to the NorthEast.
* follow it up to Piekna street.
* going East on Piekna to the next street (unnamed on the map) - it is actually Al. Ujazdowskie - and you will find the Embassy on the NorthWest corner of the intersection.

As you can see, the Grand Hotel (as has been often reported in the past) is the closest hotel to the Embassy. However, may others are entirely suitable, and include:

* Holiday Inn
* Marriott
* Hotel Forum
* Hotel Sobieski (my personal favorite)
