Title: Counties Russians can visit..... Post by: me on February 20, 2002, 05:00:00 AM There is a good probability I will be in Europe this summer for a couple of weeks on business.
I think it was on this board where I read a list of countries where Russians can visit without visa's or with little difficulty. I've search the archives, but can't find the discussion. If the experienced members of this board can help me and re-post this list, or point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it. Also, any suggestions as to the most interesting city to visit with my girl. It will be our second time together. Thanks. Title: Here is a List . . . But please be sure to check on the particulars of any one country before finalizing your plans as changes are occurring VERY quickly. Those in the list. Be careful the advice you take from this (or any) board. You know what they say about free advice being worth exactly what you paid for it - mine included --smile--. - Dan Title: No, but it is relatively easy... for a Russian to get a tourist visa to Finland. At select times of the year, tour buses flow across the boarder and on into Helsinki loaded with Russki shoppers. In fact, 9% of Stockmann's Department Store revenue comes from Russian tourists. (source: http://www.stockmann.fi/eng/index.asp?section=Lyhyesti ) Title: Re: No, but it is relatively easy... Well I think they can visit most countries outside the EU... Turkey, Ukraine, the Baltic States, Finland... you could help them apply for a Tourist Visa if you like... Takes about two weeks... and money of course. |
