Title: looking for a mentor! Post by: ryan331 on February 13, 2002, 05:00:00 AM dear sirs:
i humbly request permission to enter your russian board for the first time since this is my first time in this or any on-line discussion forum i am not certain of what the protocol is ... therefore, i will do the most obvious thing one does when entering a new group of influence and that is to briefly introduce myself ... i am caucasian, 47, 6'2", 200 lbs. i am self-employed and run a successful distributorship pulling in $300,000+ per year. i enjoy the fishing, NASCAR and beautiful women i have been divorced for a little over 4 years and am totally burned-out on the local dating scene (as i am certain you are as well!) the reason i have entered your forum is to use the collective wisdom of all those willing to tutor me and to try and bypass as much heartache and frustration as is possible in my new endeavor. i am hoping to discover some of the best advice available on how to meet a compatible lady from the baltics, belarus, ukraine, russia or any eastern european country presenting beautiful ladies sincerely seeking a loving relationship based on honor and respect. some of my first questions are: is touring the best way to become successful or is it better to go with one-on-one personalized intros? if touring is the best method ... then which are the top two or three companies to use when touring? if one-on-one personalized intros is the best method ... then which are the top two or three companies to use when seeking one-on-one personalized intros? in general ... which countries present the highest quality ladies? in general ... which cities present the highest quality ladies? these are just a few of the questions i have? if you are willing to help mentor me ... i would deeply appreciate any advice that you may offer! kindest regards, ryan Title: Here's my answers Post by: BubbaGump on February 13, 2002, 05:00:00 AM ... in response to looking for a mentor!, posted by ryan331 on Feb 13, 2002
1) You can be successful either on a group tour or personal tour. Group tours are good for first timers but socials can be a difficult way to make a good connection with a woman for the first time. Group tours will cost you more money but it's nice to not be in a foreign country alone with nobody to compare notes with. The cost should be no problem for you. Use the search engine at the top of the web page and do a search on "socials". I wrote something a while back about that. 2) The top touring companies are European Connections, A Foreign Affair, and Anastasia. Firstdream is popular with guys on this board. They run smaller tours and personal tours. A nice thing about Firstdream is that they women are invited to the socials, so you wanted them there. At regular socials you would not want to talk to 95% of the women. 3) For personal tours you Firstdream or deal with a foreign agency. Examples are E911 for Belarus or IKAR for Saint Petersburg. 4) The prettiest women I think would be in Latvia hands down. But Latvia is a more prosperous country and fewer women will leave there. Seems to me the best quantity of quality women are in Ukraine, then Russia. Belarus has a lot of women too. 5) The largest tour cities are: Moscow, St Petersburg, Kiev, Ekatrineburg. I think St Pete is good because if you bomb with the women you've seen some great sites. There are several other Russian boards that you can also join. See http://www.eewife.com for some links. Search the recent archives for our discussion on scammers web sites. These are web sites showing pictures of women with a bad track record for honesty and they have some tips on avoiding scams. Do a search above on the word "basics". Then click on the post labled "A Few Basics". I wrote that for beginners a while back. That will help a lot also. Title: One on one... avoid the agencies... ONe on one is best... Try the free datings sutes and also look at Kiss. Note that with kiss.com not worth joining as most of the real FSU women are not financial members and can not read your emails. If you do join kiss include your email adress in any mail subect line... You will find many have also included their contact details within the text of their profile. dateing.ru is a good source as is matchdoctor.com. I think you will find this a good start and a way to help you home uo those communication skills. I would not use an agency for a tour unless your time is very limited and you are looking for the take-away dinner :)) Travel to Kiev first. Easier to get Visas for Ukraine then Russia but if you can also visit Russia as well. Brush up on some basic Russian (Understand and know the Cyrillic Alphhabet and the basics - Pimsulea I) I could not think of any worst then a tour group... over priced and stupid if you ask me... Also do not use the same agency to assist with services as you may use for contacts... best to keep them seperate as they will try and fleece you of every cent, inflated prices and excess service... spend as much time as you can visiting Ukraine or Russia or other FSU countries.. Two weeks is not a good idea... relax abd have a good time. Title: Re: looking for a mentor! Ryan, if you decide that personal service is the approach you want to proceed, please e-mail me. I don't run catalogs or socials, just do personal matchmaking services based on your criteria (in city of Vladivostok, Russia). I would be glad to answer any of your questions.

Please ignore a lot of the garbage going on here. We've had a flareup of troll activity. There's a lot of information here, if you want to dig through it. Go through the links on the left, as well as read the archives. Make a note of what people seem to be consistant in their information, good, bad, or marketing ploys. Then as you go on through the archives, read the good ones, ignore the bad ones, and take the marketers with a grain of salt. Best of Luck. John Title: Re: looking for a mentor! Well I would like to say, that you will get a lot of tips, here. First some of the guys are laughing their head off, while others are sharpening theirs knifes (you'll soon know why). If you are on the up and up. Get yourself a credit card that you shall use only for the agency, with a limit on the card. Find out where is the closest Western Union agency is situated in your area, you will need it. If you keep advertising how much you do pull in. Anyway it is my guess that your post should have been made, here, on April 1st, not the day before Valentine's Day. Title: Welcome! Barry, I know you and Ryan don't get along, but I don't think it's right to call him a troll every time he posts anything. Sure, he did post a message below that I would consider a troll message, but I don't think that was his intention. Besides, one troll message doesn't necessarily make him a troll, just someone with bad judgement. Give him a second chance. Ryan is guilty of many more troll messages than the one below. He has already had too many chances. -blm Title: Re: and you (Barry) are the only one capable of detecting trolls? Post by: Richard on February 13, 2002, 05:00:00 AM ... in response to yes, Troll, posted by BarryM on Feb 13, 2002
Do you really believe that the rest of us are incapable of seeing trolls for what they really are? Title: In Barry's case it takes one to know one... nt Post by: jj on February 13, 2002, 05:00:00 AM |
