Title: Newspaper adds....... Post by: Ryan on January 23, 2002, 05:00:00 AM Just an update. I placed an add in a lugansk news paper that only cost me $11. I put my E-mail address in it and I have gotten 3 E-mails allready. (Just ran today) I am also talking to one of the girls on ICQ it is fun she told me all about the the add and she said my picture was also in the paper. I am still talking to her on ICQ it's great fun...
This has gota be the best way to find FSU woman... Title: Re: Newspaper adds....... Post by: BrianN on January 23, 2002, 05:00:00 AM ... in response to Newspaper adds......., posted by Ryan on Jan 23, 2002
Ok ok... I'm no expert, but reverse profiling DOES generate results, such as posting your profile in a newspaper ad, or with a russian agency, but who on earth could trust anyone that's playing the icq game? I've had almost three hundred responses to my own reverse-profile from great ladies in russia in the last 7 months. Some cute, some old, some good, (lots of real cute ones), some obviously.. well, let's drag out the scammer profiling sheet for you know what. In my opinion only, anyone that is going down the Instant Messenger/ICQ/Joe BS communicator online route is taking an extreme risk. I'd like to see anyone here, that has MET their prospective love interest (a real one that worked out), via instant messaging on the internet. Just one. It's hard enough to find an American woman this way, that's not a man "player", (with a contact list so long that it would crash any computer unless it's powered by the NSA), much less meet a real one overseas. Ryan, man, take it easy on this... have fun if you want, but don't take all of this type of contact and interaction, so seriously. If she's (or the women) got icq, obviously, she'll have a way to contact her by telephone, talk to her relatives, or even talk to her through an interpreter, just to validate who she is. And by the way, just because you don't believe in agencies, doesn't mean the agency route is bad, but rather that you're just a little biased. To each his own. I'd be real careful and watch your ass. I don’t understand your thinking with the IM thing. She saw my add sent me an E-mail with her picture and ICQ number. I went onto ICQ and chatted with her. Nothing more, just another way to communicate... She is just one of many woman that I will meet this summer in the Lugansk and Kiev areas. I will not send her money so don’t even go there. I am completed, I paid the low price for the add now I have about 8 girls so far, from Lugansk that I will go and visit. I’m not helping them with anything not English lesions or flower deliveries or any of that crap if she is not real then oh well go see the other 7 girls… ICQ or no ICQ makes no difference. They can all be talking to 1000 men I don’t care about that either. I’m the guy that will go and meet and that is the name of this game. Not the agency crap and all the other stuff I need no one to hold my hand. Title: Well said... I'd have to agree with Brian on this... All this instant messaging stuff = instant gratification. E-mails and letters mean much more IMO, because it takes *effort* to write them and write them well. Seems to me that this would be much more conducive for cultivation of a meaningful relationship than all this instant stuff. I've icqed with girls before, both AW and RW, so I have a little bit of experience here. You get what you pay for, I believe that cliche applies here. As for your last comment, Brian.... see here: http://dailynews.yahoo.com/h/nm/20020122/od/flush_dc_1.html Peace, Deckard |
