Title: A# Post by: RRH on January 20, 2002, 05:00:00 AM So when do we get the A#, I notice they ask for it on all the forms, does it come after AOS, or do we have it and not know it?

When the service center sends you the initial approval it should be the number on it (best of my recall). Title: not mine Post by: Stan B on January 20, 2002, 05:00:00 AM ... in response to Re: A#, posted by DE on Jan 20, 2002
I think they changed some procedures as of Oct 1, as we didn't recieve 1 on our approval. We found this out when Marina got to NYC and they confiscated her passport and paperwork because of the # being missing. We then found out about these changes, but customs at JFK hadn't read their updates yet. Can you clarify when? Which approval, the AOS, or before. Does anyone think we need to worry about this, or leave the space blank for A#? Title: Re: Re: not mine Post by: Stan B on January 20, 2002, 05:00:00 AM ... in response to Re: not mine, posted by RRH on Jan 20, 2002
just put NA or none and you will get it at at AOS, or thats what I was told by INS Title: None, not N/A Post by: SteveM on January 21, 2002, 05:00:00 AM ... in response to Re: Re: not mine, posted by Stan B on Jan 20, 2002
I was advised repeatedly not to use N/A, it invites requests for information. If you don't have an A # yet, put none. We did receive my wife's A# on the I-129F approval notice, but that was May 2000 (Vermont) Title: Well, dam Post by: DE on January 20, 2002, 05:00:00 AM ... in response to not mine, posted by Stan B on Jan 20, 2002
