Title: A winter break in Siberia
Post by: Philb on January 16, 2002, 05:00:00 AM
I am leaving this Thursday for balmy Novokuznetsk, Siberia.  This  will be my second trip to see Tatyana (spent a month in Russia in August).  This trip will be a bit shorter (19 days).  Hopefully, Tatyana and I will build on the time we spent together this past summer.  Wish me luck.

But you're in luck, global warming has hit Siberia hard.  The winter temperatures have increased from -40C to -38C.  This won't require a switch to a lighter coat.

Oh... wait... you were talking temperatures?

We're not talking summers in Texas here.  I guess +38C sounds about right for your area since I used to live in Richardson.

Thought you were referring to cup size...

You're a braver man than I.  I hope all goes well.  Hopefully, we will get a trip report when you get back.

FYI, Ρθαθπό - Siberia is pronounced "seebee".
