Title: Fiancee visa steps A through? Post by: capt david on January 20, 2002, 05:00:00 AM I have searched the archives, and can't seem to find what I need.
I am planning a trip to Cebu in June. to anyone whose experience is post "9/11" and new "rules this summer," I would appreciate any help you might give me regarding the fiancee visa route. Is there a chart, or timetable somewhere that tells what steps to take starting before my trip, what can be done in the Phils, and what is to be done when I return. Also any tips would be appreciated. Thanks, capt david Title: Re: Fiancee visa steps A through G Post by: Ray on January 22, 2002, 05:00:00 AM ... in response to Fiancee visa steps A through?, posted by capt david on Jan 20, 2002
Step A: If you haven't done so already, phone the INS and order a fiancé visa packet with the I-129F & other forms. Ask them for a couple of extra G-325A’s. Study the instructions carefully. Step B: Scroll down a few inches and read red’s post “I sent off my Fiance Visa Packet to INS.....”. He tells you what you need to bring with you and what to bring back. Red’s got it all figured out. Step C: Go meet the young lady. If you get engaged, go to step D. Otherwise, repeat step C until you are engaged. Step D: Come home and file the I-129F K-1 package with the INS. Step E: Have your fiancée get all her documents in order. If you have any questions about this at the time, ask us. Step F: Mix up a nice tall Cuba Libre and settle in for a long wait (but hopefully not too long). Step G: Post a trip report. To be continued…. Ray Title: Re: Fiancee visa steps A through?
