I took a trip to Nashville, once, and saw four men in a row sing Garth Brook's "Friends in Low Places" song at an audition at Gilley's. It occurred to me that once cowboy number four heard the song from cowboys number one, two and three, he could have switched to "Thunder Road," or something. Even a Celene Dion song. Actually, I have a trip planned for this spring to Odessa and Volzhsky. Has anyone been there. I have been writing two very nice ladies, but should they determine I am not their prince (it COULD happen you know :) ) is there an ethical and competent agency or contact in either city that I could flee to for some illusory mollification, or even real alternatives? I promise I will write a real trip report once I am back, with no references to Garth Brooks or Celene Dion. I know a little about Volzhsky. I wrote to a couple of girls from there. I was supposed to go take a tour of the town but never made it. It's right beside Volgograd where I spent most of my time in Russia. I haven't been there but I saw it from the river. If you write me I'll see if I can find my agency links for you. If nothing else Volgograd is very close and I can tell you some things to do and see there. You should not miss a trip to the Mamaev Kurgan in Volgograd. Now if one of those cowboys had sang a Celine Dion song that would have been something to write about! Title: Re: You could try...
