Title: Phone # for INS support center, Philly?
Post by: Jeff on December 17, 2001, 05:00:00 AM
Does anyone have the phone # for the INS support center in Philadelphia, the place where you go to get fingerprinted?  The 1-888 number that they sent us isn't available anymore (not surprising).  I tried calling directory assistance for Philly, but I get a message saying they aren't accepting calls!  I tried the 800 # for the INS and they tell me there isn't a phone # for there (what a bunch of crap).  If anybody has the phone # to go directly to the INS center in Philly, that would work too because I am sure they would have the # for the support center.  Thanks.

I finally got through to the main INS building in Philly and spoke to the meanest man I have ever spoke to in my life.  He told me he had the number to the support center, but he wasn't giving it to me and that I wouldn't get it from anybody else!  I hope the people conducting the AOS interview are a little nicer!

Jeff, I would be surprised if you are able to locate a number that connects you directly to your local office. I tried several times to locate a number to the office in Columbus Ohio and always ended up talking to a lady in some other INS office who would tell me that I had to go to the office in person if I needed to speak with them about anything !
