Title: Need a place to stay in Moscow? Post by: Mike on December 10, 2001, 05:00:00 AM My wife has a very nice flat in the center of Moscow that is not being used by her sense she is now living with me in Ohio, and we thought we could rent it out to people who need a place to stay while getting their fiancée visa at the Embassy in Moscow. My wife's mother could meet them with the keys and show them where the Embassy is and the medical exam clinics and be helpful to these ladies who may not know anything about the city. In the event that an American wants to rent this flat we would just have one of my wife's friends meet them at the airport or train station, ( or where ever) sense my wife's mother doesn't speak English.
This flat has everything a person needs and is very clean. She ( my wife Inna ) wants $50 a day or $200 a week and the money will go to her mother sense she will be cleaning it and meeting with the keys and so on. We made an e-mail address called MoscowFlats@hotmail.com and if anyone wants to know more they can write us or give us their phone number ( or ask for ours ) and we can talk more about the apartment. Best regards Title: Re: a place to stay in Moscow Post by: Rags on December 11, 2001, 05:00:00 AM ... in response to Need a place to stay in Moscow?, posted by Mike on Dec 10, 2001
A great idea! Very nice of you two (and her Mom) to help out like this. I may have to do the same sort of thing in Kyiv. Title: Re: Re: a place to stay in Moscow Post by: Mike on December 14, 2001, 05:00:00 AM ... in response to Re: a place to stay in Moscow, posted by Rags on Dec 11, 2001
Thanks for the good words ! I will soon have a web page full of helpful advice and good links as well. I'm sure once I get photos from my mother-in-law this flat we are renting in Moscow will be very busy because of it being nice and in great location, but will also be a big help to those wanting to meet women and those needing a cheap place to stay while doing the interview stuff. |
