Post by: KenMan on December 05, 2001, 05:00:00 AM
Is it alright to write the address in English or should it be in Cyrillic?

What I do is write it in Cyrillic and in English underneath it.  Make sure you have the cyrillic correct.

Cheers,
Ryan

I go to EEwife.com and use either translator A or translator B under the information pulldown.  I would put in one word at a time just to make sure translate it back the other way also english - russian then take it back russian to english.  Now you should also have it in a certain format.

Ukraine Lugansk 91006
Lenin Komsomal Block
1 C/24
Lastname, firstname

Write the Cyrillc translation as described above but just add the country in English underneath as not too many USPS employees will be able to decipher the Cyrillic. If you like I will have my fiancee translate the address for you.
