Hey guys, I'm new tothis whole thing and have thousands of questions.

I never thought I would consider a mail-order but now it seems like it could be the perfect thing. Too perfect in fact and I'm very nervous about getting involved.

I've scanned hundreds of photos and if love-at-first-sight is possible, I'm now a believer. I came accross a photo of a 23 yer-old in Ukraine and I HAVE to know more about her.

Honestly, is this all for real? Is there anyone out there that it's worked for who can talk to me?

I would really appreciate it someone familiar to all this would take some time with me.

I run an Agency in Chernovtsy, and have for quite some time. I have not posted here about iit as I am not on this board to promote my agency.  But if it is Natlia you are writing asking about, I can tell you that she and her younger sister Anna are with my Agency as well, and Natalia is one of the sweetest Girls we have in our Agency. I wouldn't be scared - just use a little common sense and don't rush into things. I am well aware of the old saying if if looks to good to be true ...  However, don't let that run you off unless you have a good reason to believe it's too good to be true.  See how things develop...

I agree with Stan B's suggestion that you try to contact her outside of the agency - try asking for a phone number and address from her.  Failing that, can you call her through the agency?

If it is Natalia on the first page then I am a little surprised by your choice.

Actually, out of all the beautiful ladies to choose from I felt you picked one that has a more sweet, sincere look to her.  Typically you will find many men who go straight for the very young, sexual predator type with long blonde hair and legs up to the sky.

So I felt your choice was not very typical and probably a better choice than most I have witnessed in the past (myself included).

That is not to say that she and/or the agency is not out to scam you but I would start by finding out if the agency is on the level.  I would certainly check out other agencies/websites because you will probably find other women who will attract you just as much.  Unfortunately that is the problem with this search.  The more you look around the more ladies you will find that will interest you.  

And it gets even worse when you go there in person.  It is really a test of your priorities and how sincere you are about finding a mate.  It is terrible when you are over in the FSU (Former Soviet Union) and you have a strained neck because women have you turning your every second.  And yes, there are so many beautiful women over there that it will be very difficult to think straight.

I think it wears off with time but most men don't get a long enough stay overseas to let it wear off.  If you are really interested and you feel the agency is a good one then I would suggest to write her a letter with a photo and see if she replies.  The only thing you will be out is maybe a few bucks to send the letter but if you don't send a letter then maybe you will be missing out on the love of your life. Who knows.....(Those who risk, drink champagne)

Thank you for the comments. I'm normally very sceptical but there is something about this girl that made hy heart go pitter-patter. Probably a hormone problem but I know there is something terrific behind those beautiful eyes.

I sent her a letter and flowers. I am still sceptical but somehow I don't think I'll regret it.

My wife (or she will be on Monday) is from Chernivtsi, thou she doesn't recognize her, as it is a city of over 300,000. But she does look like a nice lady from her photos. But the agency she is with looks rather expensive for letter writing @ $39 for 2 letters. Thus after you make contact with her, you should suggest she contacts you thru an internet cafe. Thou you can't do this in your letter to the agency, as they want to protect their 'investment'. Thus you might want to ask for her phone # and give her a call if she speaks any english, or have an independant russian speaker give her a call for you. Heck, we could even call for you if you'd like.

Yes it ist all real. You are fortunate to find this site as there is a lot to know or it could also become your worst nightmare plain and simple.

There are a few basic things you need to  know.

Firstly this is not cheap but it is worth it. I have well over $10,000 into it and have nothing to show for it yet. Others after less than $7,000 have a lovely wife.

Secondly, you need to understand that there are insincere women and business men who simply want your money and you need to learn about how they work and how to read a red flag indicating that something might not be right.

Thirdly, you need realize that the more you exceed what you can attract in women from your own backyard the greater chance of failure. The real problem is women who are out of your league might let you make that mistake and thus you are thinking it is ok.

There is a lot to learn if you want to optimize your chances of success.

This is not for the faint of heart.

I am close to your age (I am 32 years old) and I live in Lexington, Kentucky.  So I may not be too far from your location either.  I am currently engaged to a gal from Ukraine.  I have a story to tell just like everybody else here.  

If you like feel free to e-mail me and I will reply to any questions you may have but it is also important to read the archives to get a better perspective on this.  This site is an unbelievable wealth of great info for those seeking a partner in the FSU.  

One thing I would like to say is that if you decide to pursue this then you will end up in a different place than from what you first imagined.

There's thousands of posts in the archives.  I'd suggest doing lots of reading to get a feel for how things generally go.

It's real, but there's lots of sales hype as well.  Use common sense and take it slow.

first one you might see on a webpage.  If you had listened to Patrick's good advice to start reading the archives,  you would know exactly why.  So,  first you really should do some good reading.  Before you jump in.  There is really alot you can learn and everybody has had to start somewhere.  Oh!  And $20 per letter is just plain crazy.  But,  they will be glad to take your money.  Then again,  its your dough and your time.

My guess is that Jack is betting that you are a troll and giving 3 to 1 odds that he is right.  Might have something to due with the fact that you used "Mail order" instead of "International dating" and that your writing style sounds like that of a chick.  A troll is someone that posts messages just to mess with the board and get their jollies.  Personally I wouldn't bet on it either way at this point.
