I only rarely post but I've been chasing after RW's and monitoring this board for 2 years now and been to Voronezh, St.Petersburg and Moscow since then. This time I'm off to Bulgaria for 12 days ...anyone out there with experience in Sofia? I'm going to meet a lady who is by far the best to date but would like a back up plan just in case we don't hit it off. Any interpreter, apartment/hotel, walk-in agency recommendations would be appreciated. I'm also curious about fashion...same dark colors as Russia??? And currency exchange...unwrinkled bills or just any? thanks for any responses. FYI-I bought my airline tickets late and then was in a rush. Both BrianC and mdante would have beat the price I got locally by $100. If only I had been patient enought to wait for their responses...sigh. Thanks anyway guys. They may be able to help you in a short time if you wish but I have never used their services in Bulgaria. In the last 4 foreign countries I've visited they all refused wrinkled bills unless you were willing to take less money. In Russia they wouldn't take wrinkled bills at all. I guess you noticed they wear dark colors in Russia too, but several of us asked about it. Most popular response: black doesn't show dirt. |
