That happened to a guy who posted his personal site link on the Asian board also. If you have lots of images, make sure they're in jpg format and use some compression when saving them. I've found that up to 25-30% compression reduces files size substantially without much, if any, degradation in image quality. Don't ever use gifs for photographs on the web. Your file sizes will be much bigger and data transfer rates will be way higher than for jpgs. Bitmap files not only are larger but they are grainy when you zoom in versus a high resolution jpg file. I only noticed recently how much better jpg files can be for pictures. |
