to be more kind to you. Here are e-mail addresses for several people in SPb who can help you with an apartment. I had extensive correspondence with all of them and was pleased with their attempts to help. info@apartment.spb.ru Rex Title: Question Post by: WilliamMGi on November 08, 2001, 05:00:00 AM ... in response to Need a flat in St. Pete., posted by Dalton Brooks on Nov 8, 2001
I came across a website for "Apartment City" advertising rentals in StP. Does anyone know them, by experience or reputation? Title: Re: Need a flat in St. Pete. Post by: JRM222 on November 08, 2001, 05:00:00 AM ... in response to Need a flat in St. Pete., posted by Dalton Brooks on Nov 8, 2001
Dalton, Check the St.Petersburg Times, www.sptimes.ru,classified secton, apt's for rent. Try a consolidator for the best fare to St.Pete. Title: Re: Re: Need a flat in St. Pete. When reading the classifieds of the St.P Times you don't realize that there is an agency fee associated with the majority of the apartments. This fee can run an additional 50 to 100% depending on the cost of the apartment. Be careful! For a consolidator I would still recommend that you go thru a travel agent who will also utilize a consolidator, or regular fares, depending on the cost to you. I have to agree with Jack. By the way, is he or not in business? Does he provide a service? Shouldn't he get compensated for what he does? When you go to a restaurant do you say I will only pay cost?...No! You pay and they make money. The viscious cycle of capitalism! If you want to pay 50 to 100% of the renting asking price...be my guest. However, if you know someone in the know who can reduce your costs, why not use them? Your repsonse really lacks merit and is very short sited. Still lurking Title: Hey Tex, ...read, cry and weep! Tex, guess what,..Jack has no fee, you are correct. I will repeat for your benefit, we deal directly with the flat owners. My clients pay $5 a day over the cost of the flat. So Alex, Roxana, Tatyana, Rostick, Galina, Valentina, Yuri, Eugene, Olga, Sergey, Nastya, Elena, Natalia, Ilya, Oleg and Natasha will make $5 a day for every day a client rents a flat. I guess clients can pay your 50% or 100% increase fee, or my fivvvvvvvve dollars a day!! Title: Re: Need a flat in St. Pete.
