There are russian language keyboards and keyboard overlays available if that would help. Try this site. http://www.fentek-ind.com/access.htm Title: I am not sure if I understand correctly... but if you want to type your letters directly in Russian (Cyrillic), you should be able to change your keyboard layout to Russian easily (in Windows - Control panel - keyboard - language). After you set your keyboard to Russian, you should be able to type in Russian font in any Windows application - including Outlook, if you use it for sending your e-mails. Same applies, I would imagine, for Hotmail or Yahoo. As far as the Cyrillic keyboard layout is concerned, you can get a printout from www.russialink.org.uk/keyboard/keyboard.htm - for example. I am not sure if it answered your questions. As I understood it you were not looking for the English-Russian translation sites (like Prompt or Paralink). I would still suggest to use those programs for an initial translation, then edit it yourself using your keyboard (in Russian setting). It saves a lot of time especially when you write long letters. Do the Russian language support thing on your system, and you'll "russify" your keyboard. You'll end up with internat something in your background system, that allows you to switch keyboard formats using a mouse click. You will have an indicator in the lower right that says "En", or "Ru". Simply click on it to change keyboard formats. öùêëûû ïêóôå,!!!! don't even try to read that, it's just typed out in english, and says, "works great". (But not in russian! only klingons can understand what I typed!). Title: translate.ru/eng n/t Post by: cherokee on November 09, 2001, 05:00:00 AM |
