Title: Age differences - - A new perspective
Post by: Go2Rus on October 26, 2001, 04:00:00 AM
For those who have been wondering, yes I am still working on my trip report covering my month long trip to Russia.  But regular work just keeps intruding.

Meantime, I have one short tid bit to report that may be interesting to some.  In the past when we have argued about the age difference question, one logical (at least to me) statement was along the lines that the older the man, the greater the age difference could be.  In other words, perhaps 40 and 20 was too great of a difference; but 60 and 40 would be OK.

But one lady I was with in SPb, who was extremely interested in sex, told me a very different story with some good logic.  She said large differences in age 40 - 20 were OK, but 60 - 40 were not OK.

Her reasoning was that if a woman marries an 'older guy' who is also quite a bit older than herself, then she may only get 5 or so years of sex out of him, and that would be too great of a penalty to pay.

I think that many Russian girls would simply not like their man to be older than their father.

I asked him if it bothered him and he said "man is man".  It didn't bother him but I looked about 10 years younger than he does.  I think the girl considered me the best available man even if I was older.  I was 23 years older then she was.  If you look young and healthy I think they will bend that rule.

You were younger - even 1 year younger is fine.

So did you marry her?

No. She couldn't speak English and so I went with another girl that spoke good English.  That girl insisted I send her a lot of money before she would come over and of course I said no.  She refused to do a fiance visa.

OK, I hope that you are happy with the other girl now.

From the perspective of life span, I have already figured out that if I live to 84 like is typical of my family and a Russian man lives to 59, then I can marry a younger woman and at least live as long as the Russian/Ukrainian man she might have married.

The sexual decline is cause by hormonal changes, mental and physical decline.  I have noticed that exercise and common stimulants like ginseng, DHEA, ginko biloba and caffine all increase desire.  Exercise helps a lot and also try to keep your weight down.  I experience noticable problems when my weight goes above a certain limit.

I only recently noticed a decline in sexual interest and I think I'm just wearing myself out by not sleeping.

Well, I wonder how many FSU women really like sex? I mean really like it.

There are a fair number of AW women who do not consider sex that important. I hear the complaints. I have learned how to avoid these women whereas others think that they can change them.

You say you have learned how to avoid the women who don't like sex.  Do you mean you avoid them later after you find out (after several dates)?  Well that part is simple.  But if you mean that you have developed a way to very early find out that they don't 'really' like sex (before a first  date) then I would love to hear about it.

We will never have the entire answer to that question.  I met with 13 women for one day each, and spent additional days with 4 of them.  All 4 had sex and enjoyed it.  But did they really really like it?  Who knows for 3 of them.  But I can state that for one, she really really really really liked it more than I could have ever imagined.  I can't even report the details because I know that no one would believe.  I can hardly believe myself.  In fact, for the first time in my life, I finally got some inkling of what women must mean when they say they sometimes feel 'used' with regard to sex.

Well that may have been true in the past, but there are many men (like Hugh Heffner) who are quite old and thanks to Viagra still enjoying a healthy sex life. Next year a competing drug company is releasing an even better drug than Viagra with longer lasting effects.

Ah, the marvels of science!

Viagra helps when you want to but can't for various reasons related to low blood flow, recent sex, etc.  Viagra doesn't help where the man has no interest.

Women are telling me that many men simply do not have the interest as they age.  Of course this applies to them as well, but when there is a large age difference, problems can crop up.
