Title: Back Home safely ... Post by: Richard on October 18, 2001, 04:00:00 AM I got home safely this evening (arround midnight local time) after roughly 24 hours in transit. I spent two weeks in Ukraine, including a week in Crimea. (I would have to agree with Dan's comment about wanting to talk about Crimea instead of Chernobyl.) I can recommend an excellent guide if anyone is interested.
For those who saw my questions about the K-1 visa from Kiev, it is now official: I now have Natasha's family's approval to marry her. Congrats Richard! Sorry we didn't hook up as I was in Kyiv at the same time. It got pretty cold real quick 'eh? It's good to be back in sunny Ca but I would freeze my @ss off to be back with V right now. Check out my K-1 post above. By third degree, I mean alot of questions. Natasha's father was concerned because I proposed so quickly. You will see pictures as soon as I can scan and organize them. Natasha does not have any children. This will be her first marraige and my second. (I'm a widower.) I agree with your comments about her family: they are all very close and care about each other.
