From 1st October, Ukrtelekom has reduced costs for their telecommunication sercices like Internet charges or charges for telephone installation. One minute on Internet with Ukrtelecom now costs 0.06 kopeek, ie 30 minutes = 1.8 Hrv. Telephone installation (home) - 205 USD (used to be $300). Installation can be made the next day after payment. It can also be sold back any time. I got this info from my fiancee so I believe it is correct. You can buy internet servise cards cost 27UAH just over 5$USD for 10 Hours. Even cheaper by the month. Phone concetion as listed above. Try and get a new exchange number. good news for the ukraine citizens, from about $1.10 an hour to .38 an hour for internet cafe use. heard one report that hotel rus charges guest $28 an hour for internet access. I have a Yahoo computer to phone account. It costs .02 per minute for all calls within the states, .12 minute to Kiev. When I was in Kiev I used Yahoo at an internet cafe to call the states. It is treated like a call within the states, .02 per min and the sound quality was excellent, better than phone to phone. There are no extra charges. |
