Title: Something odd on American Singles.com Post by: Tuttle on October 10, 2001, 04:00:00 AM I found it recently due to a pop up ad and checked it out. I also saw the post on the board below just now.
I did a search on AS for women in my local area and found a photo that I recognized from the AFA site. The profile was for a woman who supposedly lived in my area (NE Atlanta suburbs) but I definitely remember the photo from an AFA profile for a RW. Weird. I've seen the same, even written to the USA profile to warn her, assuming the Russian was a scam. However, no reaction...) It may have been the Russian pretending to be in the USA! Also wrote to a girl claiming to be in England, but of course she was my taste because she lives in Russia; and on top of that, she is listed as a scammer. Generally a sign of dishonesty anyway. I have seen this phenomena several times. I think that posters just steal pictures they want to represent them.
