Title: another question for warsaw vets Post by: keith on October 10, 2001, 04:00:00 AM In regards to proof of support- I have sent a copy by email to my fiance containing my bank statement and my job letter- now in looking at some of the archives I see where most say that the embassy does not look at or ask for this material- is this correct? How concerned should I be that she does not have the original copies- interview date is only 10 days away- I could send an original copy via fedex or special delivery per post office to warsaw directly to save time if anyone thinks it is required- I sent the first original copys of forms to her about 11 days ago- but the mail is running very slowly to her town in ukraine- i just got a letter from her yesterday that took 24 days to get to me. Any warsaw vets with some good advice?
thanks, Keith ps my understanding is the 134 form is no longer required so it is my thinking that the job and bank letter should suffice- now im wondering if copies are enough Title: Re: another question for warsaw vets Post by: RickG on October 10, 2001, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to another question for warsaw vets, posted by keith on Oct 10, 2001
I was there in July and they only took the I-134 (they didn't keep the w-2s, paystubs, bank statements or employee letter). But I think the I-134 had to be noterized. ... you need to at least HAVE the I-134, bank statement and employer letter just in case. E-mail or fax these forms maybe? Good luck, Karl |
