Title: Todos Quieren con Marilyn Post by: jediknight on October 26, 2005, 04:00:00 AM this is a soap opera from colombia that started last week here in the nyc market on telefutura at 10am. its been a while since i last saw a novela that is i enjoyed,the last one was la costena y el cachaco, its humorous and entertaining. i recommmend it to those that want to see a bit of the way of life in bogota, you can learn spanish also, learn the accent which is different than other latin american accents like mexican,argentinian or peruvian, watching novelas helped me a lot to improve my understanding of the language, sayings, slang and culture.

I used to watch some of the Babysitter, with Paola Rey. Also, the latest one she was in , La Mujer en el Espejo. But, I find it extremely frustrating. I can catch the odd phrase or sentence, but most of it still whizzes through my ears. Still, good eye candy. great eye candy but still, even if the language is difficult to understand, constant exposure, body language, gestures will help you get the gist of it, eventually you'll pick up words and phrases, it will help those that want to learn. JK |
