Title: Top 10 Reasons a Latina is into You! Post by: papi on October 20, 2005, 04:00:00 AM Somewhere someone was asking how to know if a Latina is into you. To that end, I thought I would expand on this concept as to some possible clues she may be into you:
1. She turns-off her cellphone during your date 2. You go to buy her a pair of shoes to go hiking and she actually shows up later to go on the hike 3. She does not want to watch TV during dinner with you 4. When you go to kiss her goodnight, she does not turn her head and give you a giant hairball 5. She does not need a little "regalo" for her "baby" after getting intimate with you 6. When you go to buy her a new bikini for the pool, she does not also select sunglasses, hat, and a entire beach ensemble 7. She does not take the bus or subway to your agency cita and tell you the taxi is $10,000 pesos each way 8. She is not on amigos and sending an IM to your amigo while she is writing you 9. She does not have Gary Bala's office line pre-programmed in her speed-dial 10. If a Latina is habitually past 30 minutes tardy - I pass. I dated one woman in BQ that showed up for my birthday dinner after we paid the check and were drinking coffee. Next! I usually make a joke about it when I am getting to know someone and ask them if the are on Latino or gringo time. thanks for taking the time to post from your experience. I think "we" need to consider language. Not only the Spanish language, but the language difference of men and women. Hmmmm, I might have more opinions about this topic, it's actually very interesting because most men get confused because the ladies are very nice to them, so automatically they think the lady likes him.... So, rule number 1. Being nice/polite is NOT a sign of a Latina being into you... About the cell phone, Latinas are almost attached to their cellphones, so most likely they won't turn it off... but a great sign is when they actually receive a call they say thay are meeting a foreign man, and they make the call as short as possible. With all due respect, Papi, your list doesn't actually indicate that the Latina is "into you". If the girl is NOT doing those things, it may indicate that it is "less likely she is scamming you". Normally, I wouldn't challenge someone's post, but I'd hate to see someone "getting all excited" and thinking a girl is "into them", just because a girl turns off her cell phone... or thinks the girl is in love with him because she doesn't try to scam him on taxi fare... A more accurate wording of your list might be "Top 10 Signs Your Latina May Be Scamming You", and then write the list the exact opposite of the way you have presented it. For example... Top 10 Signs Your Latina May Be Scamming You 1. She NEVER turns-off her cellphone during your date ... 9. Well you have to look at who started the chain of events. Was it Papi, no it was not, it was JaySlo. And if you don't think "zero" was an insult than you and I just don't see things the same. It was a dig from my perspective and one Papi was entitled to respond to. The first dig JaySlo threw at him he ignored, the second one he did not. Also, we really don't know what the truth is about Papi he may have had successful relationships in the past. Noone here really knows. Can you honestly say that you know? He already has stated if you read all his old post that he had a girl from Cali for two years and ditched her.
