Tell me if I am wrong but recently I posted a picture of a woman I was dating on the other forum.  No name but I was proud that I have shed a few pounds and also had such a beauty in my company.  I was nuts over this girl but unfortunately things did not workout.  She is pretty straight-laced and I guess I need the more naughty type.  Anyway, maybe it was a mistake to post the pic – a lot of guys do it even some men that post here.  Anyway, one guy reading the forum apparently told her about the pic and she was very upset writing me that I posted our pic on a place of ill-repute.  I learned my lesson and will never do it again.  But I ask you...what kind of man snitches like that?  I think I know who did it and feel it was a shitty thing to do.  I was proud of the pic and sad that things did not workout.  I wrote her back and have not yet called her but my guess is that when there is a lack of trust and people are on different paths so early in the relationship it wont workout.  Anyway, que lastima.  I really liked that girl but it was pretty much over long before i posted the pic.

on these forums.   others do so willingly.   I will post pics of women I don't know sometimes but more than likely they are models or even celebrities or are on caliescali.

if I do post pictures of women, I make sure their face is obscured or unrecognizable.

yea, i know Mal. never again. the pics are fun but i am going to avoid the college for now and avoid any temptation to post. i dont like the fact that something i posted interfered with a lady. meanwhile, i have bigger fish to shoot in the barrel. I have never been there.  but apparently it has some attractive women. Combine their attractiveness with their reknowned stupidity, it would seem an ideal place to visit.

well, it did not workout well before i posted it but i guess that was salt in the wound. but like i said - her pic is already splashed on the net with her name, etc. but you are right - my mistake. but i would tell yu that half the pics on the other forum or more are without permission..but still does not make it right. i learned my lesson but still think the guy was wrong to say something.

Use of more than one user name on the forum is not allowed.  You tried to register a new account under a different name, so I deleted the new one and banned the one you're using now.  If I find that you've got others, I'll ban those too.

Anyone got any guesses as to who this guy may be?  It's not too difficult to check up on a couple of accounts, but going through the whole data base would be very tredious.

Do you still have an "auto-disable" for those who don't post within a specific time period (ie:4-6 months)? My "Troll-ometer" is going crazy when I pass it over a bunch of names on the active member list (lol).

I disabled it a while back and have only done manual deletes in the data base.  I just did a clean up deleting all accounts registered before July 1st with no activity.  612 accounts disappeared.

Comes out of the woods? Ray has been member for almost 5 years, with 3500+ posts. He knows more about immigration than most attorneys and knows more about successful relationships than Dr. Laura. He is well known here for always being willing (and capable) to help people with sound advice.

How convient that Papi shows up (or perhaps better to say 'returns') and you show up at the same time as his advocate.......craw back under your rock, troll.

I suspected Gringo Loco for several reasons:

1. GL had been in a flame war with Heat as recently as 3 days earlier

2. GL & Poker have VERY similar or same writing styles

3. Both GL and Poker refer to Heat as “Mr Heat” in their flame messages

It’s not very hard to hide your identity when using fake user names. How did you trace the IP’s, with a WhoIs query or something similar? Unless things have changed very recently, some IP’s cannot be traced, for example with AOL accounts because they use proxy servers. Try to trace an AOL account and it will usually always show a Virginia address, which is where AOL is registered. Run a WhoIs query on AOL IP’s from people dialing up from both the East Coast and West Coast and you will still get a Virginia address. MSN accounts are similar and will show a Virginia address (run my IP addy).

There are other tools to trace IP’s, but I don’t think you can trace an AOL IP to it’s login location without the help of AOL. If I wanted to post under a fake name (I never did), I could just set up an AOL account and register that way and you wouldn’t know where it’s coming from when I login to PL. Don’t you get those AOL free trial disks in the mail? :-)
