[This message has been edited by Gary Bala] Here is the name and contact info. for an excellent translator in Bogota who can also be a good contact person. Outstanding English, very friendly and personable. She is originally from Cali but is now I happened to have met her on my recent trip to Cali, Buena suerte. When are you planning on going? I"ll be going over there shortly. I don't need a translator I'm fluent but I'm staying with Latin Intro's, Nelson's agency.Dont know abou Consuelo's but I'm sure someone else here does. Quite possibly around the same time. Trying to figure whether to leave around Sept 27th or so & celebrate my birthday there (Oct 1) or leave on October 13th. It's between those 2 at this point. OCtober 17th? I guess leaving on the 13 & spending that long weekend there would be cool then. ONe of my friends has a big birthday bash (50th for moms) on the 15th & invited me over. I guess I could go there then head over to Latin Intros. Good deal. I've never been in Colombia during October. Have no idea whether this holiday important, etc. Keep in mind that some families travel during holidays, meaning they may be out of town. Very imporatant in Dec. during Christmas and New Years holidays. Recommend you email Nelson and ask.
