Frank, I have my map in Cali that would tell us for sure, but its much more than 120 miles.By road I belive it is around 400- 500 miles, something like 700-900 Kilometers.I may be remembering Kilometers more than mile conversions, but its way more than 120 miles.,like 10,000 ft elevation.By air it might be 300-400 miles, about 45 miniutes in a plane, maybe I hour scheduled time with takeoff and landing. My map even shows the vertical up and downs of the highway. You go over a big mountain range. At least the rebels don't mess with you on this highway like they would pre Uribe. But if you drive its best to drive daytime only and plan a safe place to stay over if you will stop for a night. The 10,000 ft elevation refers to the mountains you go overon the highway.I inserted it in the wrong place. Pete Title: Re: Correction Post by: Frank O on August 01, 2005, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to Correction, posted by Pete E on Aug 1, 2005
Thanks for the info. The internet map I used made it cool like from McAllen to Corpus Christi so I figured I'd drive but from what you described I think I'll pass & simply fly there man. Thanks. It is about a 45 minute plane ride. Avianca offers flights about every hour...should cost around 50 to 75 dollars Title: Re: Re: HOw far is Cali from Bogota? Post by: david hagar on August 01, 2005, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to Re: HOw far is Cali from Bogota?, posted by Chris F on Aug 1, 2005
