Darth I live near Seattle also. I went to Colombia for the first time at age 29 just like you plan to. Ive been married for just over 3 years. If your future wife ends up being from Cali she probably wont appreciate Seattle weather all that much. I know mine doesent :) Your right about Rock Salt thats our favorite salsa place in Seattle. AGC is a good choice.Lots of younger girls.With your age and spanish you will do great.Agc will deal also,if you stay there or not.I think  Ricardo is moving the agency back to north Cali soon,I think he is waiting for his lesase to be up.Most of the girls are already on the web site I think.
Where are you in Washington?I am in Seattle Friday night,getting together with 2 others guys from this board there.Then on to my sisters in Chewelah,north of Spokane.
Back to Cali where I live August 5.Its my little taste of the US vacation I do every year.
Your choices are huge,particularly in Coloombia.So you are on the right track.

Thanks for the info :) ... I am in Redmond (yes boring old Redmond)... I go to Seattle every once in a while (Rock Salt on Friday nights) is the only latin club that I found to my liking so far... you mentioned that ACG are moving soon... do you know if that are moving before or after late september and if they are moving before... is it a good idea to go to that agency after a move? any thoughts are appreciated :)

Your first mistake with the DR girl was to try to impress her with your"JOB" . YOU TRY TO CATCH A WOMAN WITH MONEY AND YOU WILL GET A WOMAN THAT ONLY  WANTS MONEY ENTIENDE !!!!

Relax and just be yourself, and maybe play a little poor or something. There are so many girls looking for a meal ticket, at least play hard to get if you are going that route

I tend to put all my negatives up front. If they are STILL interested then maybe we got something. I tell them I'm NOT a dr, not an atty, I'm a musician. Usually that would turn off many (well not the groupies & party girls but that's for ANOTHER purpose altogether). Of course seeing I'm NOT poor & HAVE traveled does help out quite a bit. But yeah, mentioning the $$ WILL bring the sharks out. I remember turning off many a girl by taking them out & NOT buying them the dinner they wanted. Just drinks. Unfortunately that backfired at one agency when the lady told the agency owner I was "poor" because she was pissed. Later on my wife took a friend of mine there & told her who she married. The lady responded "You married HIM?! TOo ad he is REALLY poor. He didn't even have $$ to take out the girls to eat." LOL!!!!

Quick question, you may or may not know, about their site... do you know if the girls that they currently post on thier site are usually available? and if those are the cream of the crop or do they have comparable girls on there offline line posting

I am sorry to say that cream of the crop girls I have found are not available often.  As for ACG it will be hit and miss with the cream of the crop types. Depending on how choosy you are that could be an irratant for you.  I remember when I got there I was told that one of my favorites had moved out of town. Another of my pre-trip favorites must have packed on 30 pounds since the photos were taken (She is still on the website with the same incredible photos. I met many other girls that were incredibly cute so it did not matter too much for me.  At the time Ricardo had a deal with Latin Encounters to allow his customers to go there and pick from their "Menu". That was a good alternative for me as well.   I would come up with a plan a,b,c,d,e and so on because many will fall through I am guessing.  
ACG was a good place for me despite some of the drawbacks.  It is quiet and when I was there I was the only customer staying at the house.

Well I am latin myself, 29, and I know spanish, but I am not the best at it since I was born in the US... anyway I really love latin women... I too think that they are best (I had been with the same white american girl for many years and I really was never happy) ... I don't get a chance to meet many latinas since I live in Washington... anyway I would love to meet a beautiful latina and bring her back to the states... I am picky so I am not sure that if writing ahead of time would work for me (I think I rather meet her in person first... even though I hear that can lead to problems and missed red flags)... from my limited research I think cali would work for me... I want to go somewhere in late september but I don't want to spend an arm and a leg my first time out (I am still a little skeptic, but hopeful)... I was thinking of maybe staying at ACG since they seemed to have some pretty ladies on there site and there room + introduction seems reasonable (this is my latest shift in thinking anyway)... what do you all think?

I stayed at ACG less than a year ago.  That was my 1st trip.  I can give much information in that regard if you want it.

welcome , At least you are planning a trip to go there !!!! many guys talk about it for years ...... with all these post in the past you have to see and feel out what you think will work the best for you. What works for me or heat or papi maybe is not up your alley ...

But just go there the first time and have fun !!!!!! if you expect to much the first trip and you don't succeed it will be dishearting to you ...... go with the flow and have fun ...

I agree. YOu have to find what works best for you. I tend to run an ad & have the ladies write me. Then go & visit & usually I meet several others WITHOUT The help of an agency. Having said that I'm speaking of Ukraine I'm barely gearing up for Latin America as the Ukrainina wife turned out a rotten apple to put it mildly. Find what you are confortable with & DO IT. Like he said many sit here & dream about it or write about it or whatever but never actually MAKE the trip. If you actually go you alrady have I figure about a 95% advantage right there. Be prepared with MANY back up plans & best of all keep a GREAT ATTITUDE REGARDLESS of what happens. I'm just going through a nasty divorce but you know I'm not going to be bitter. By the end of the year I'll be searching again. I have a short trip next month to Colombia but mostly as a vacation NOT in search of a wife. I do have a nice lady I'll be staying with though but strictly platonic.
Have fun dude & don't take some of what many might consider "criticism" the wrong way. I've taken a LOT of flak from many guys here but I'm not a kid I CAN take advice & I hate to say it I DID ignore many a red flags. I could have provide the Chinese for their fricking parade with all the red flags I had.

Too many unfortunately they did not pop up till 8 months AFTER our wedding & when our paperwork was "lost" by Immigration/Homeland Security.
