I'm a lawyer and I used to do a lot of divorce work. No pre-nup. In general, they are probably a good idea but not for me. Title: Re: are prenuptials the standard Post by: mudd on July 20, 2005, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to are prenuptials the standard, posted by DarthMaul on Jul 20, 2005
If you have a family business, kids already, pension, will make a lot of money in the future, stocks, investments ECT, you better get one. And each state is different, so contact a lawyer in your area who deals with pre nups. Better safe than sorry, and is hard to start over. This is a lawyer question, depending on which state you live in. Prenuptials can be worthless depending on the above criteria.
