Title: Honestly, I'm a little nervous... Post by: Looking4Wife on July 18, 2005, 04:00:00 AM This girl and I have been going "ga-ga" for each other for just over a week now, since our first phone conversation.
This is the first girl I started out talking to over the phone first, before I met her... so this is unchartered territory for me. I would have preferred to meet her first, on my next trip which I was planning maybe in October. She saw my profile through International Introductions and expressed interest, and I also liked what I saw. I thought, what the heck? I could give her a call, what have I got to lose? Next thing I know we are hitting it off "swimmingly" and I am headed down there... Usually the girls have said I look more handsome in person than the photos (although they liked the photos or they wouldn't have wanted to meet me in the first place)... but I'm still nervous... Of course, I have plans B, C, and D, but I'm REALLY hoping that plan A works out :-) Title: Re: Honestly, I'm a little nervous... LFW, Cheer up. Hopefully, she won't run away from you, (remember Papi), or throw up on you. I talked to you on the phone about my own "sad little story". I don't think you can do worse than I did. So, the worse that can happen is that she strings you along, gets you to spend all your money on her, and breaks your heart! Hey, it's a SLAM DUNK! ha
