Title: Patrick, et. al.... Link for Married Members? Post by: Looking4Wife on July 11, 2005, 04:00:00 AM Patrick:
How labor and/or time intensive would it be to create a link at the top (or side) of the forum called: "Happily Married" or "Married"? This could take us to a page containing a list of links where the success stories of married members would be chronicled, as they chose to provide them? That seems like something that would be extremely practical, beneficial, and perpetually inspirational to all posters... especially us that ain't tied the Latina knot yet... You mean something like this? http://www.goodwife.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=8cc43d4fd414395b40abaa31b152e588&f=12 I was planning on getting the new forum completely set up, transfer all the accounts, plus the archives, and then shut this site down. I don't know when I'll get around to finishing the other site though. I have to remove the ads that have been running for free for almost four years first. Then I have to make several modifications to the forum code. Some of you who know your password will find that you are already registered over there, but please don't post yet. I may end up having to re-install the forum software and lose everything there. Title: Re: Re: Patrick, et. al.... Link for Married Members? Hi Patrick, I'm surprised that no one has yet commented about your plans and announcement for the new forum. I took a look at it and think it will be a very nice improvement in many ways over the P-L format. I remember suggesting a similar style of forum when I first joined P-L but the consensus then was to leave everything just the way it was from the regular "tradition, tried and true" posters. Hopefully, once everyone starts using the new forum they will see the many advantages over the existing string style format. I have a question though. Will there be any safeguards to prevent persons signing up under multiple identities and to reduce the amount of trolls. I noticed that IP addresses were recorded as well as what OS a person is using. Thanks for taking the time and effort into the revamping. Pablo Title: Re: Re: Re: Patrick, et. al.... The safeguards are what I need to implement before I make the switch. Title: Re: Re: Re: Patrick, et. al.... Link for Married Members? Post by: papi on July 13, 2005, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to Re: Re: Patrick, et. al.... Link for Mar..., posted by pablo on Jul 13, 2005

"what is with the disclaimer??" Would you believe an attempt at humor, rather dry, like many of my fellow Limey countrymen. Although it might possibly be from my recovering from da island's revenge man. I must of ate something bad during my recent visit to San Andres. It gives "all inclusive" an entirely different meaning. Title: Re: Re: Patrick, et. al.... Link for Married Members? Said the spider to the fly. Yes, I'd be happy to fill you in on San Andres, at least my perspective of it. I will write about this too when my stomach stops doing somersaults. In a nutshell though, their beaches are fantastic but the rest of the island I found highly overrated. Title: Re: Re: Re: Re: Patrick, et. al.... Link for Married Members? There has been a big negative vibe on these boards lately. I do support people in what they say but if its all negative then I am having second thoughts of looking for a latina. I would love to read success stories, and advice from those folks. Get me excited again. I hope all the negativity will not keep you from persueing a relationship with a latin woman. Like all women in all parts of the world, there can be bad situations and bad women, but all in all, latin women are much more open to things like age difference and social backgrounds, race, ect. But they are woman and they want what they want as well, so my best advice is to hit the Gym, learn spanish, get some nice clothes(Italian Clothes they like the best), whiting the teeth and get a nice haircut, smell good, ect and BOOK THE FLIGHT ! The ones that are having all the success are way to busy once they get there ladies here . Unless you have been through this process it is hard to explain . so in the meantime you post what you can to help others not make the same mistakes and I myself has made as well as others . It is not like you can call the Better Business Bureau to get reports about any certain agencie and there performance records . If you choose to believe what thay so proudly claim on there websites then you will loose . If you want to get " excited again " then go to SA . Once there you will get really excited . happy travels ........ Title: Good Luck... Post by: wizard on July 12, 2005, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to Patrick, et. al.... Lots of luck getting successful couples to post their stories here... With the tone of the board lately and the, ahem, diversity of personalities, let's just say that some of us prefer to keep our private lives just that, private... Suerte... Title: Re: Good Luck... Yeah, visiting this forum is such a torture. So many posters inclined to wreck those who have "perfect" marriages. Title: Re: Patrick, et. al.... Link for Married Members? L4W, I second that motion. It seems like a logical extension of this board. Plus, it would make it very easy for us to access this info. The more experienced married men could indeed be an even better resource for everyone, if there could be some modification of this type put on the board. OkieMan Title: Re: Re: Patrick, et. al....
