Jake, I had a hot Brazilian sitting next to me on the plane yesterday - unfortunately, i think she was a Lesbo and her travel companion a row back looked like the Butch. She spoke some Spanish no English and I even understood some of her Portuguese which in her case was very similar to Spanish. La verdad!

okie ......... we have all taken our licks ....... but you must keep on ticking ... I will disagree with the vast majority that post here . For what ever reason  , you do not make many trips to SA ... the land of endless babes ..and they are not just in CALI ...... they are every where ... Brazil ,Peru , Panama ,ect . For a few hundred bucks you can buy 40-50 address's and if you want I will help you put together a nice letter and spend a few nights getting this together and once you start getting a few letters and photos in the mail .... things will look up .. I like to go after the ones I like , why wait for them to come to you ..... it requires a little marketing know how but that is what you want to do .....

I KNOW THIS WILL CAUSE A LOT OF FLACK BUT I DON'T CARE ... YES THERE A LOT OF GOOD LOOKING BABES IN CALI .. BUT THEY KNOW THE SYSYTEM AND THE ANGLES BETTER THAN HALF THE MEN THAT POST ON THIS BOARD . WHEN I WAS 5 YEARS AGO A GIRL PLAYED ME ON FOR 5 DAYS , GIVING ME ALL THE SEX  I WANTED , ALL THE GOOD PLACES TO EAT  ECT ... AFTER THE 5 th DAY I FOUND OUT SHE JUST GOT ENGAGED 2 WEEKS BEFORE I GOT THERE ......F_____ CALI ......... YOU CAN DO BETTER ..

Jake,
Thank you again for your interest.  I am not in a position to do anything at this time.  However, I want you to know that I am aware of the other options available.  When I decide to go back to Colombia, or some other Latin American country, I will consider all the options.  I am not necessarily tied to Cali.  It was just the most logical for me at the time.  For instance, you have become quite the expert on Brazil.  I have never been there, but I am somewhat intriqued by that country.  However, I do not have the financial means to go as often as you do.  I guess your business takes you there quite abit.  That is fortunate for you.  So, ultimately, I will work through this.  I just need  some time to "take care of business" here at home.  When I'm ready, I will jump back in.

Okie ........ this is my point ... you don't need to travel now , just start to make some connections down there . It does not matter Peru , Colombia, Brazil , Panama .... now your are not having the chance for anything to happen .

I have not wrote letters for over 2 years now and I still get 3-4 letters a month from girls freinds that would like to meet me . I am nothing special , average looking , blond curly hair , not over weight , blues eyes .... you spend some time doing this for a couple of weeks and you will meet some ladies who never met a american man and you will be the king ............ Before Solange came along i would get 2-3 letters every week plus 3-4 emails every week ........  I have talked to Papi about this program and even he had a little interest in it . It is just something that I developed and has workd very well for me .......... and a few other guys I helped ....

When I met Solange for the first time in Brazil .... she new she wanted me when I said hello ............ itold her she had me at  hello ....... now we have our interview in Sept. This has not been easy .......... but I know it iwll be better than dealing with all this american women materailistic ideas .......

Solange , ask me ... Jake I am going to be little nervous doing the laundry and cooking .... will you help me in the beginning......... this what she is worried about ........ I am more worried about some sexy clothes to wear to soem special events .............

Papi . I think I did send him one , but he did not act that impressed . I guess when they see her on the cover of Maxim ( what ever the name of that mag is ) maybe he will change his tune ............ And you are correct , I have paid my dues ... I went to unxplored places in Brazil and came out with a jewel ... Of the 7-8 ladies I met only one and ever met a american in person ......... evrything in the american man favor ... just has to grab the bull by the horns and do it ............

I have never seen your novia. If you want to send me a picture, that will be fine.  I just don't want to intrude on your privacy. It is up to you.  However, as of this date, I have never seen her photo.  Having said that, each of us has to find someone that "rocks our world".  The lady in Colombia that I saw in May fit that bill for me.  However, it is obvious that the feelings were not mutual.  So, it will take me a while to find someone else.  I must admit, I am picky.  But, on the other hand, in SA, there are many, many ladies to choose from.  So, the looks department is the easiest to come by.  It seems that the sincerity and compatibility issues are much more difficult to find.  Then there is the question of building a rapport with the lady, and working on building trust.  Now, that is a very tough hurdle for me!(trusting her, I mean)  So far, I have not had much luck in that area.
So, who knows, maybe someday?  Thanks for your encouragement anyhow.

It was kind of you to ask about me.  I have been busy working lately.   Also, since my trip to Cali went poorly, I have not been in much of a mood to post here.  At the present time, I really don't have anything to say.  In time, it will all work out; but for now, I am trying to get on with my life and put my bad experience behind me. By the way, I wish you the best with your latina.  Good luck.

Welcome to weather on the Great Plains.  They were reporting baseball sized hail with that storm.  Admittedly, here in Wichita, our storm stories don't hold a candle to the ones Okieman can tell you.  It seems like I am always hearing about tornadoes in the Oklahoma City area, especially Norman and Moore...

Okie, I understand. The process can be frustrating. Some guys luck out but others including me have struggled. I hooked up with someone on my first trip to Cali and we stayed together for 2 years but I did not want to marry her. Subsequent adventures have been costly and mostly not productive. This is not an easy road for some but the rewards are high. I am on the fence myself but inclined to take another stab or two at it before throwing in the towel on project Latina. You have had only one or two shots at it so far so I would at least give it another go. You have so many options to explore. I would bet you could do better in BQ, Cali is over-fished and spoiled, especially the agencies. BQ is still good hunting.

if it helps i've been on this search for 5 years and it's finally paid off. over the years i've dated many colombianas and i've learned alot about what i wanted to find in a woman and alot about myself also. one thing that i learned is that you cannot give up with each failure, we've all had them, i've had my share and it blows but you've got to get back out there, there are soooo many beautiful women in colombia, in latin america, don't let a bad experience get the best of you, life is too short. think about what went wrong, address it and move on to better people.

I've taken a LOT of flak but hey man I'm not giving up. You just pick yourself up & get back on the horse (whor_s?)!! I just had a nasty one of 2 years & $30K go down the tubes. Well HER loss man. I just had a lady from Mexico I used to date years back call me up & wanted to meet my wife. Well, I told her she's history. Well she told me to call her back in an hour. I did I'm going over for dinner now. Her MOM invited me over. Her mom always wanted us to marry...anyways I've always been lucky to have THEM call me or write me. I don't believe in buying listings & writing them. I let THEM come to me man. Take out an ad & let them write you & YOU chooses who YOU want man.
But bottom line it's NOT the end of the world. I don't know what exactly happened to you but take the time you need & then reevaluate & start over man. A good marriage is TOO precious to NOT work for man. I had one at one time & I want that back. Keep your chin up man.

I dated a Mexicana for five years, and once received an out-of-the-blue email similar to your phone call.  Looking back (and I do this often with her), she was the greatest girl I ever met.  A young lady with a character of gold.  

Mexican women are underated.  Though they don't come off as glamour girls, they make up for it in other areas.

Tough shell, soft heart.

is they are usually just not that interested in gringos. I had a Mexicana novia for a while and she was a wonderful woman. She just didn't have that indefinable quality that knocked my socks off the way my wife does. In fact, I met my wife on an internet site while looking for Mexicanas who lived nearby. After that it was adios for the Mexicanas.

It is interesting to note your comment on so many beautiful women in Colombia. Aside from maybe the upper class beauties in Medellin, I have seen far more stunners from Colombia actually in Panama. Far better looking than I have seen in Colombia except for maybe Medellin. Panama attracts the cream of the crop in the looks Dept from all over Colombia but unfortunately most are working in the brothels - that is what attracts them to Central America. Dollars over pesos
