Title: Fights with Avianca have serious problems!!! Post by: Gringo Loco on July 05, 2005, 04:00:00 AM I finally made it home!!! After a 6 hour lay over and a 3 hour delayed flight out of Bogota. I arrived at my house at 3Am this morning. Avainca really needs to get their shit together. I hear that American has cut down a lot of their flights to South America. Avainca is trying to pick up the slack and it's only making them look bad.
I had a great time fighting with cab drivers over prices. Foto sessions went well. But take my advice guys fly direct. And make sure you take one carry on with the important stuff because they always send your luggage the next day or at least one of them. I had to beg the lady to send both. I had all my gear and paper work for the foto sessions. So other than the flights and cabs all went great! I also want to commend Jamie on the women I have been talking to for a few months from his site. They were both excellent choices. They were both very serious and very reserved. And I see a great future ahead with one of them! It was a very very difficult choice. Thanks Jamie, I really appreciate it! Sorry I didn't get time to meet up with you. Avinunca has had some tempting fares over the years...but I just couldn't bring myself to trust them. One of my favorite airlines was "Aces".... too bad, they're outta business... everytime i have ever used Avianca i had problems usually delays and not just a small delay like one or two hours usually 4 to 6 hour delays. ridiculas!
