For almost 2 years I have been trying to get my wife's picture off the TLC website. I personally confronted the man last summer about this problem.  We have called the TLC office as well.  Bruce said he would take care of the matter.  Bruce even said to me that his site needs pictures of women like my wife to entice members to join. I can assure anyone that goes on his tours, they will never meet a lady like my wife. (educated, good-family background, not a green-card shark and stunning beauty.)

I did not meet my wife through TLC.  

One thing I can say, I would bet good money that my wife is not the only lady on his website that is not available.

  If you are who you I think you are, I've got good news for you.

Your wife's photo was taken off the website two years ago- per your request!

We both know she voluntarily joined my program and even went to an event. Thanks for the false accusation, I assume it was unintentional. It just gives the PL cheapshot artists more fuel for their fires.

that all tour companies use.  Has Mr. TLC offered to give you a percentage of estimated profits derived from your wife's good looks?  I bet not.  

this unfortunately is typical behavior of many agencies. and the fact that others do it does not exonerate TLC.  

suspect practices include:

1.  maitaining pictures of women no longer available,
2.  SELLING ADDRESSES of women no longer available (fraud),
3.  using models not affiliated with the agency (dishonest at best)

why are so many dissatisfied with tours??   because the pics of the hot bikini babes they have on their web sites are totally misrepresentative of the goons that show up for these tour parties.

You better hope you can recruit all the ladies you can get in Cali .. that is the only tour you make money  ... and the way things are going that ain't lookin to good ...

I was on the fence about TLC because the website is so slick and the photos are enticing and the reviews are mixed.  What demoman has stated here is precisly what I hoped was not the case with TLC.  This little tid bit of info should be addressed here by Bruce but I see it as a serious deception and it clearly sways me to go elsewhere.

So, you are saying that your wife was never a member of TLC, and you did not meet her on a tour or via correspondence with them?  Then how did he get her photo?  Is your wife some type of model?  Would it be too much to ask you in what issue of the brochures does your wife appear?  I do not wish to invade your privacy; but you brought this up, and I for one would like to follow through.  Assuming I understand what you are saying, this is blantantly misleading.  I would personally be more upset over this type of thing than some of the other issues that has been brought up recently. I do not wish to go around "bashing" any agencies.  But, at the same time, all of us need to compare notes and find out more about the agencies who are doing this type of thing.  The comment you mentioned about your conversation with Bruce suggesting that he purposefully put your wife's photo in his brochure without her permission is disturbing to me. He said he needed pictures like that to get other men interested?  WOW!  That is bad!  Please confirm to me whether I understand your story or not.  Thanks.

I will try to answer your questions. First, No I did not meet my wife through Bruces Agency.  I do know that about 3 or 4 years ago(I might be wrong about the time frame) Bruce hired her for the tour introductions or something like that.

Since my wife was a TV personality and former model, my wife really did not need an agency to meet men. Because of TLC, when she was living in Ecuador men would call her house in Cali at all hours and bother her parents. My wife called his office many times and asked to be taken off the website.

She is in one of the TLC internet issues. It does not serve any purpose saying which one she is located on. Bruce knows which ladies are not available when he is told a lady is not available.

I really don't want any problems with Bruce. Just by chance my wife and I were staying at the Inter Hotel during last years tour/party. I comfronted him politely about taking her off the website. He said he would take care of the matter.

Bruce if you are reading this, just take her off your website.

It was very kind of you to answer my post.  I am sure that your wife is a lovely lady, and I certainly do not wish to butt into your private lives.  My only interest is to find just enough to get the "facts" straight.  Obviously, Bruce has posted today, in response to your post.  I hope that you can get it corrected.  However, please allow me to ask a follow up question.  What if he either refuses to remove her; or he tells you he will, but nothing gets done?  I mean, what recourse to you feel you have?  I can only imagine how many guys have very likely made requests to meet her; only to find out that she is conveniently unavailable?  At any rate, I wish you every happiness.  I just hope that someday, I will also be fortunate to find a true and loving wife.  Frankly, I do not enjoy the chase.  But, the alternative seems to be to continue to live alone.

At the very least, we need to be our own "CONSUMER REPORT".  What we think may not mean a hill of beans to the world at large; and it is rather obvious that we will not always agree on certain issues; but this goes way over the top!  I just think we need to get additional info about this particular incident.( read my post to D-Man.)
