Title: Panama Sept 23 Post by: papi on June 28, 2005, 04:00:00 AM Please post below or email me if you want to go to Panama for a Happy Hour on Sept 23. I am trying to see if there is a consensus, as some guys wanted to go in July but could not make the date scheduled. The hotel I like is $75 per night plus 10% tax. The airport code is PTY. I leave for Panama tomorrow so try to confirm ASAP so I can tell the girls. Also, it would help if you would please email me your pics if you have not done so and include your age, occupation, and location

Man I'm not thinking about a weekend. Honestly I'm looking into 7 to 10 days maximum. SHould I plan for a shorter trip? I'm not sure what you're looking for but if you're looking for a wife decide on one city within one country and plan on visiting as many times as possible for the next several years. IMO travelling to different cities or countries while interesting, lessens your chance of success. I've seen guys with women they are interested in, scattered all over South America. Logistically it can be difficult to manage. Don't believe the negative comments about Cali either, the women are open and great. They're very well groomed and clean..... "They're very well groomed and clean....." My first novia from Cali whom lived with me for 2 years was like living with Felix. She yelled at me if I walked in the house with shoes pronounced "choos." Some however are not which was what I was talking about with Sir Hoda Title: count Pancho Villain in on this one Post by: Cali James on June 28, 2005, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to Re: count Pancho Villain in on this one, posted by papi on Jun 28, 2005
Well I had 4 Calena novias over the years and dated countless others and they were all impeccably clean and very well groomed. They take grooming a lot more serious in Colombia than they do here. I think your example is the exception, not the rule. CJ, I am not going to debate grooming habits. whatever Title: count Pancho Villain in on this one Post by: Cali James on June 28, 2005, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to Re: count Pancho Villain in on this one, posted by papi on Jun 28, 2005
[This message has been edited by Cali James] You're the one who brought it up Papi and it showed up in a couple of your posts too. You've been to Colombia, haven't you noticed how concerned the women are over their appearance and hygeine. Anyway I can't help it if you picked a stinky girl for your novia. I don't think they're that common. no, the stinky girl was not my novia...re-read the post Title: Re: Re: count Pancho Villain in on this one Post by: Cali James on June 28, 2005, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to Re: count Pancho Villain in on this one, posted by papi on Jun 28, 2005
OK my mistake, I read too fast sometimes, but in any event, Colombianas are impeccably clean.....you can't convince me otherwise. How about restaurants where they don’t have soap?...oh, you have never seen that have you in Cali on sexta??? or poor dental - i have never seen that either in the promised land Title: Re: Re: Re: count Pancho Villain in on this one Post by: papi on June 28, 2005, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to Re: Re: count Pancho Villain in on this ..., posted by Frank O on Jun 28, 2005
i would suggest 4 nights in Panama and maybe 3 to 4 nights in another location. You can jump off from Panama to other places relatively easy/cheap. If you had a novia there than maybe 7 nights and go explore the country. But again, give me until Monday to confirm things. If I fall in love -you can go back with me anytime. If there is interest in Sept from the guys - then we can do a small group thing. You might consider running down to BAQ from PTY if the fares are cheap. That is one of the areas considered safer in Colombia with less scammers in my opinion. I can fill you in on some good agencies located in BQ. Another thought, you mentioned Peru. Maybe shoot down to Peru from Panama. I have heard good things about matchingsys but never have been to Lima. In reading your profile, here are my recommendations specific to you: 1. Panama Knowing your profile - i dont think you will like Cali, MDE or Bog popular places here but BQ might fit your bill and I feel good about Lima for you and of course working on hooking you up in Panama. Any responses yet??? Your help for Frank, is looking more & more like a "self-help" for your interest. Title: Re: Not like Cali, MDE or Bogota....puhleeze Papi Post by: papi on June 28, 2005, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to Not like Cali, MDE or Bogota....puhleeze..., posted by Hoda on Jun 28, 2005
How so dear Hoda?? I mentioned both BQ and LIMA. I spoke at length with Frank on the phone - he does not have the personality for the girls in those places. There is no self help - the Sept thing is most likely my last hurrah. I am not making money on it and most likely going to shitcan the project besides putting together a last trip for Frank and whoever else might want to go. I have already canceled all other tours. I leave the tours to Bruce. I'd open an office in Panama but the guys going couldn't cover my mini bar bill Title: *sigh* Post by: Hoda on June 28, 2005, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to Re: Not like Cali, MDE or Bogota....puhl..., posted by papi on Jun 28, 2005
My Dearest Papi, Is Bog, MDE & Cali, that much different from BQ and/or Lima? That Frank, with Spanish being his first language would not be able to appreciate, let alone find a good lady in the above mentioned cities? I'm just saying there is NO reason at al, to diss the women of these other or any other city/country! Your "hygine" remark was not kool at all.... It just looks like a real hard sell on Panama....let it "Panama" or any other city, sell itself to Frank! Frank, has a built-in advantage, that many men here would envy. Frank, go to Peru, go to Panama, go to Brazil, go to Colombia...there's a whole new world for you to discover! Title: overfed gringos Post by: papi on June 28, 2005, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to *sigh*, posted by Hoda on Jun 28, 2005
One day I was hiking around tres cruses in Cali and was offered a glass of water from some people taking up residence in the hills. I looked at the water in the sunlight and would not have given it to my dog. Good people but poor hygiene but at no fault of their own. If Heat can talk about overfed gringos I should be able to comment on poverty and the challenges that go with it. I might feel bad about it and give to charity but probably would not want to marry into it Title: Just reporting the facts Post by: papi on June 28, 2005, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to *sigh*, posted by Hoda on Jun 28, 2005
My dear friend Hoda, I am not hard selling anything. To sell something - you have to make money or have something for sale. Nothing I wrote is for sale. I offered a trip- there is no charge. Poverty is more widespread in some parts of LA. With that often goes poor hygiene. Just reporting the facts. Title: Don't where you were hanging out.... but all the women (friends & family) that I've ever met in Colombia....all paid exceptional attention to hygiene & their appearance... Your facts are suspect friend... Extremely suspect!! Anyone who has spent anytime with a Calena learns that they're into grooming big time. As far as third world countries go, it's interesting that he has no problem pushing Panama. Last time I checked it was a 3rd world country too with a GDP per capita about the same as Colombia. He recommends BQ and Lima, cities with a fair share of poverty. I personally wish Papi luck on his new agency but I wouldn't recommend Panama over Colombia, no way! I'd recommend guys go where others have been successful, Cali and Bogota would be tops on my list. Has anyone been successful in Panama? The only agency I've heard of is Papi's and he's calling it quits after his first tour. I'm not saying a guy can't be successful in Panama, the truth is, a guy can be successful anywhere, love is where you find it. For the guys who like the road less traveled, it might be great. I did that myself, went to Bolivia a long time ago, it was a great experience in many ways but in terms of hunting grounds, no comparison to Colombia. Guys put to much emphasis on avoiding the bad girls, I think they should be learning to spot the gems. Title: Re: Don't where you were hanging out.... Just the Facts - like Dragnet. I am not saying that you wont find very clean and nice surrounding in your promised land but you want to tell me that the level of health, dental, cleanliness and hygiene is the same in a third world country (city)?? My facts are facts not suspect my amigo Title: To Frank Post by: papi on June 28, 2005, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to Re: Not like Cali, MDE or Bogota....puhl..., posted by papi on Jun 28, 2005
[This message has been edited by papi] Frank, again, i think these are your best bets in LA from what I know of you and your interests: 1. Panama I have been to Bog, Cali and Mde. I dont think you will like it Title: Re: To Frank Post by: Fuzzyone on June 28, 2005, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to To Frank, posted by papi on Jun 28, 2005

[This message has been edited by papi] Fuzzy, Frank sent me his profile, pics and I spoke with him at length on the phone. my impression: he would like BQ, Panama and Lima over the other exalted places on the forum. He had his fill of problems in the Ukraine Title: Oh...so your special list of places for Frank...
