Title: An idea... Post by: Seeker on June 25, 2005, 04:00:00 AM I've noticed in the past that some guys identify a woman's profile on this forum as revenge for a negative experience. However, I have never seen a guy identify a woman as a potential gem. For example, I meet a great woman at an agency, but things don't work out between us for whatever reason: she has a kid, too short, etc. However, I recognize that this woman is from the cream of the crop and a keeper. I identify her profile on this forum and encourage other guys to contact her. A recommendation from a seasoned PL member provides the necessary credibility for this to work. Just an idea. What do you guys think?

Well it wouldn't be that hard to set up a free Geocities site. Check the Asian Forum, where Jeff has a Geocities site for the posters, and they also post family members looking for a mate. Heck, through my wife I know several single women in Medellin who would be interested. In my case I'm married - otherwise they definitely would have interested me. Title: Re: An idea... Post by: doombug on June 26, 2005, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to An idea..., posted by Seeker on Jun 25, 2005
I like the idea. Networking, with an element of vouching. A few months ago, here on PL, I posted a brief description of a Peruana I befriended on Cherry Blossoms. She has a great personality and sense of humor; is very smart, talkative, well off (by Peruvian standards), no kids, no baggage, and never married. She's moderately attractive, but I think the few guys who responded were expecting her to be a sex bomb. By the way, she'd consented to all of this. In fact, she frequently reminded me to continue the hunt for her "frog." |
