Title: Divided we fall Post by: AnzoNevis on June 22, 2005, 04:00:00 AM ThereÕs been so much smoke about agencies, tours, personal
vendetas, etc that when it clears there seems to be very little ŅthereÓ there to fuss about. An old bogus photo? Differences in approach? Price, for gawdÕs sake? Agencies and tours are what have made Cali, in particular, the destination that it is for gringos. The women there arenÕt any better looking than in Caracas, Santiago, Rio, etc. TheyÕre just more accessable due to the various agencies and location, and that Cali is a very working-class town and MOST of the women are less professional and arguably more appoachable, and dress rather, uh, nicely (hey, nothing wrong with that). The recent flare-up of all of this agency vs tour stuff has I really donÕt care if someone has a problem with an agency Title: Well done, well said, Sir... There will be positive & negative experiences & responses to EVERY method available! No "one method" works for everyone nor is there one person, who can say, "that they know, what works every time". Who said it would be easy? Title: Re: Divided we fall Post by: locoabogado on June 22, 2005, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to Divided we fall, posted by AnzoNevis on Jun 22, 2005
I really liked that post. I had a blast at tlc in panama and my buddy is in bed with his fiance' from that party this very moment as we speak for she has been on denver soil for maybe 3 hours max. So he is another satisfied client in more ways than one right now. :) I actually introduced him to her because he was shy and I was not and she was hot. Too bad he's good looking and I am just well, me. But if you want to get a hit, gotta step up to the plate and tlc was a great way for an average mug like me to get in front of lots of girls in a comfortable environment. I do not know if I'd like one on one intros in an agency setting but plan on doing that as plan b my next time around. As was advised here, have a backup plan and am working on improving my spanish. So there is still lots of good advice here if you search for it. And as for Heat's lament about the feminists making it harder for us to get a real wife, every special interest group is doing their thing, its the american way. What we are doing is diluting their ascension to power so they will fight dirty to the death. But try as they might, they wont succeed because of the regular folk that want to immigrate their families who now comprise over half the population now so their voices are now being heard loud and clear. So let the bitches whine, then let their dike girlfriends stick her vibrator in her mouth and shut her up and stay the F*** away from me. :) Title: Re: Re: Divided we fall Post by: papi on June 22, 2005, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to Re: Divided we fall, posted by locoabogado on Jun 22, 2005

Read the fem-a-Nazi stuff who do they quote as the cause of all the problems? Who is this stuff aimed at? The MOB industry, that's who. What will they do (Congress and the Feminists) pass laws which make it harder for the average guy to bring home a foreigner bride. They, the agencies make money with unscrupulous business practices and we pay the price in legislation. When you have to pay more, are restricted in your ability to bring a bride home. When it takes six months longer than it used did before. You will be able to thank them. Title: Re: Wrong! I'd say it's more to do with the men who have murdered their brides. You can probably blame 9/11 on the length of time it takes to get a woman here now. In a way I suppose you could blame the agencies, because without them there would be far fewer marriages occurring, and therefore, far less attention being paid to it. Title: Re: Re: Wrong! Patrick, I agree 911 did slow everything down a bit. But I respectfully disagree that they are not at fault for not screening the girls better. for not protecting the client. When the Embassy see them sending 60-70 year old men to the green chard sharks. They are much tougher with the average guys. Thus they are aiding and abetting fraud. Why? Follow the money. "But I respectfully disagree that they are not at fault for not screening the girls better. For not protecting the client." The changes I'm aware of are those requiring that the women be informed up front of their ability to get out of an abusive relationship without risking deportation, the penalties for immigration fraud, and the fact that the agency industry is unregulated. The other involves providing any woman who asks for it, a background check of the man interested in her. The "client" being protected by these changes is the woman, not the man. I believe adding more protections for the women is a good thing. However, the way it's proposed to be implemented is to place the burden on the agency with heavy fines for non-compliance. You see, they're attacking the agencies just as you are. The problem is that the US government can not impose any penalty on a foreign agency owner and they can not enforce these regulations on them. They will simply drive more ownership of agencies to the foreigners. The women will not be informed of their immigrations rights, nor will background checks be available. What should be done is to add the warnings to the documentation delivered in the immigration forms. They could also force the petitioner (i.e. the man) to pay for a background check that is sent to the woman as the first step in the immigration process. Having been around this for the last ten years, I've come to the conclusion that there are indeed sleaze-bags. The percentages are probably higher on the client side than on the agency owner side. People tend to blow trivial things into major lapses in ethics when it comes to agency owners. Guys who abuse their wives and treat them like objects are "victims." I don't buy it. Heat - can you read ? Anzonevis is a courageous guy to post here and risk ridicule from you. He is a typical client who responded to an agency that spent its dollars in the US to try to help guys there who were unhappy with the ladies. Why do you turn everything into a negative ?? Well, it's aimed at the entire MOB business, which wouldn't exist if it weren't for us. The Latin MOB business is squeaky clean compared to the FSU versions. Just look at the number of agencies who are listed on PL, and there are a whole lot more. Some are honest. Lots aren't. It takes at least a year to get your FSU woman home now. Ultimately, there's going to be some legislation, because the folks on the hill need to be seen as doing something. And the industry is open to attack from so many different directions that I don't see how it's going to defend itself. Heck, I get into arguments with conservative male friends about this stuff, so I'm not very optimistic about the future being as easy as now. |
