Post by: Michael B on May 04, 2005, 04:00:00 AM Interesting article in the April edition of "Hispanic" magazine about the 25th anniversary of the "Mariel Boat Lift", written in 1st person by a woman who was a 16 year old girl when she left Cuba as a refugee. Don't worry that you can't read Spanish, this magazine is printed in English.

She was interviewed on Public Radio the other day and I caught it. Very interesting point of view and I'm sure her book would be a good read. |
