Title: Sportsmen lounge Costa Rica (off topic) Post by: fred757 on May 07, 2005, 04:00:00 AM Has anyone been to Sportmen's Lounge in San Jose Costa Rica?
I didn't remember it from my last trip. I think its just has a bunch of satellite sports but no sportsbook. If anyone has been at this hotel/bar and would recommend it I would like to know. It's more like 5 minutes from the Del Rey...it's right by the Zoo. And while there is not an official "SportsBook" there, the owner will take any action you wanna play. Great spot. it is about 500 colones cab or 15 minutes from the Presidente if you do not take a tourist taxi. I have never stayed there but have been there for a few cocktails and dinner. Nice digs and good people www.sportsmenscr.com. The owner Bill is a gringo |
