Title: LatinWomenConnection
Post by: OkieMan on April 12, 2005, 04:00:00 AM
Hi Guys,

I just came across a latina website that I do not believe I have heard of before.  It is www.LatinWomenConnection.com.  I am not sure if I wrote it correctly with the upper and lower case letters.  At any rate, it located in the north, in some condo, which is about 2 minutes from Chippicappa.  It is also supposed to be very close to some place called Simon Patillo (?) Steakhouse and Entertainment , etc, etc.  I never heard of that place, but they showed pictures.  It has a restaurant, go karts, and other stuff.  Are any of you guys aware of that place?  If so, what do you think?  The women on this website are very attractive.  Right now, I am focusing on one chica in particular, but I am still interested in other options for possible future use.  So, what to you guys know about this agency, if anything?

I can vouch for Robert. Ordered his book and got a kick out of the info (including having sex with the Latin woman). Stayed at his Condo in December and will be staying there April 23rd to May 2nd. Nice place for $40 a nice (including maid). I met my girlfriend through him and couldn't rave enough about him and his services. I have more money then time (not bragging) and I don't want to go to six parties to meet 400 women I don't know. I would rather tell someone (that knows a lot of girls) what I am looking for and have them  look for me. I can't promise Robert can do this for you, but he knows quite a few of the girls on his site.

Mazu,

Thanks for your imput.  It is always helpful to get some info from a guy like yourself who has already dealt with a particular agency.  I am already scheduled to spend some time with a particular calena I have been writing to.  Naturally, there is no way for me to know what will happen until I actually meet her in person.  If it does not go as well as I hope, then maybe Robert's agency can help.  By the way, do you think he would do a "day rate", or some other special arrangement?  I did not see anything on his website other than individual or group tours.  It seemed like he wanted an arm and and a leg for his time.  If I were to go to his or any other agency; I would only be interested in "cherry picking" through the girls, I was interested and getting a few dates.  I would not want to pay another membership.  I did that back when, with Latin-Internet.  Overall, that has been a good deal for me; but, I figure that as I learn more about this latina deal, I will only want to use the agencies in moderation.  I am sure the agencies don't like that, since they don't make a lot of money that way. But the other posters on this board have recommended that method to save money, time and hassle.  It sounds like a good plan.  So, I will see how things go with this one calena.  It may work, and then again, it may not.  I certainly will not "settle" for any girl.  I want to make sure whoever I end up with, that she is that "special one".

Robert lives in CT but his wife is a Calena (sharp attorney too) and knows quite a few girls in town. They don't really have an agency book which is why they have partnered with Latin's best. Like George mentioned, I don't think he makes any money on it. I like his Condo and won't stay anywhere else. Just a five minute taxi ride to Chippichappi, you can walk to Exito (big super market) and that go cart/Simon P place is just walking distance. You get the keys and can come and go as you please (plus bring back whoever you please). Lots of privacy. Much better then a hotel.

If you haven't been down, it isn't that hard to meet girls just around or in the malls etc. I would supplement with an agency but be prepared to be blown away by all the great beauties around. Don't listen to anyone that tells you that Cali is picked over. I was there for 2 weeks in December (a busy time they say for Gringos) and I saw about 25 Gringos in 2 weeks and all of them were at the mall. I don't think that is picked over in my book. Hotties everywhere.

Good luck.

Mazu,

Thanks for the info.  I will keep that in mind.  However, I have to actually meet the calena I have been writing to, and see if there is really something there or not.  If not, then I will try to work out something with some of those other agencies.  Thanks for the recommendation.

Robert is a friend of mine and I know that his first goal is the success of his condo dwellers. He has an inexpensive rate plus you can get a one day or a two day rate with Robert for Latin Best a 10 minute safe walk from his condo. Luz Amparo will honor the rate that he has negotiated with her.  I do not think that Robert makes any thing on this because he wants the best for his gringo guest. But he does have negotiating leaverage with Luz that the average gingo does not have. I would spend more time disussing  this with Robert ... you will not be dissapointed with any thing that Robert tells you because he is a man of his word ... george

An attorney by the name of Robert owns that agency.  I can't vouch for the agency because I've never used it, but I do know Robert personally as well as a few other guys who have used his agency before.  The guys that have used his agency say good things about it and are happy with the personal treatment they receive.  I consider Robert a good guy, straight up.  The condo is nice and secure just north of Exito La Flora and close to Chipi and Simon Parilla.

Yeah, I was trying to get the name of the restaurant right; Simon Parilla. The pictures on that website were impressive.  What do you know about the restaurant and entertainment place?  It looked rather large. Do you like Exito?  I saw some other stores similar to it, but I have not actually been in that store.  However, I went to Unicentro and Chippi Chappa last year.

Okieman,

Now that we are on the topic of nice restaurants in Cali, The Cali Viejo (The old Cali) is a good place to take a date. The design and atmosphere is similar to old Cali restaurants, including the waitresses' clothing. I thought the food was good (but not great) and a little pricey but the reason I recommend it is because it is a partly outdoor restaurant and the surrounding greenery is beautiful. You feel like you're in the middle of a jungle. And there is a short trail that takes you to a nearby stream- A great place to take a lady for a walk. She will call it "Muy romantico" and will thank you for taking her there. Just my 2 cents.

Zack,

Thanks for the tip on the restaurant, but I am not exactly sure where it is located.  Can you give me more info?  Also, what did you mean about the waitresses clothing?  Does that mean that they are dressed sexy?  If that is true, how do the calenas react to that?  I would not want to take my date, and then start checking out the waitresses tits!   Anyhow, I am just wanting to get down there.  I need a break!

Okieman,

Actually, I'm not sure where it is located either. I only went there once, six years ago. I never could find a good map of Cali and to this day I am still directionally challenged when it comes to Colombian cities. Hopefully someone else will answer this question. If not, and if you are serious about going to the Cali Viejo, simply get into any cab and say "Restarante Cali Viejo por favor" and he will take you there. They all know where it is.

Regarding the waitresses clothing. "Sexy" is the last word I would use. They dress VERY conservative, similar to the American pilgrams (remember- OLD Cali). Trust me, you won't be checking out any waitresses tits. Simply put, it is a restaraunt that mimics old traditional Cali restaurants. But the big plus is the outside greenery and short walkways. Also- a group of musicians (a Colombian quartet) will come directly to your dinner table and play romantic music at your request.

Zack

P.S. I think there is a name for Colombian quartets but I don't recall what it is.

Zack,

Thanks for the additional info.  I guess I am not familiar with the term "Old Cali".  Can you explain?

You may be talking about a more colonial type atmosphere.  Many years ago, I live in Albuquerque, NM. Downtown, they have the older part of town, and in fact, it is called "Old Town".   Santa Fe also has a similar "Old Town" in their downtown. Both were very nice, and my wife(at the time) and my kids all enjoyed them.  So, is that the type of thing you are talking about?

Yes, exactly. "Old Cali" refers to the old, colonial type atmosphere. It is similar to the "Old Town" you referred to with the added forestry and musical quartets. If you enjoyed the Old Town you will probably enjoy Cali Viejo.

Zack,

That kind of thing is very enjoyable to me.  What type of musical quartets to they have?  I know that Colombians like Mexican Mariachi bands, and I do too.  But, what other types of music do they have?  I don't think that Salsa music falls into that category, does it?  If not, then what else does?  By the way, I love the old style architecture too.  I often imagine walking around that type of place, hand in hand with a beautiful latina!  Topping that off with a romantic dinner and an evening of passion sounds great to me!  It's been too long for me.  I need some R&R!  Thanks again.

Hoda,

I am not sure if that is the same place I went to last year or not. If memory serves me correctly, there are a couple of classy Brazilian restaurants in Cuidad Jardin.  When I was in Cali last August, Latin-Internet was still there.  I am a member of that agency. I think everyone knows that they have recently moved.  Anyway, I took a date to one of those classy Brazilian restaurants.  It was somewhat expensive, but we had a real good time, and the food was great. I just don't remember the name of that particular restaurant.  Also, it just depends on how things go; but I may or may not have an occasion to go that far south this time.  I will just have to see.  But, that part of Cali is certainly beautiful.

Hey Okieman!!

I have been to Simon Parilla many times in Cali. It is a nice outside steak restaurant that is faily inexpensive. There are two of them I believe in Cali. One has a go cart and miniture golf area. Its a great place to bring a date and enjoy a pretty good steak.

The one with the go kart and other stuff is the one that I saw on the web.  It looked really fun.  I will probably enjoy checking it out with my calena.

I have stayed at Robert's condo and it is very nice and secure with armed gaurds. A great place to take a date and the pool is 20 yard from his condo. It is cleaned daily and it is very inexpensive. It offers a much better environment then a hotel. It is a short safe 10 minute walk to Exito or Latin Best. Latin Best is still one of the best agencies in Cali. There are far more options in the north then in the south .. for meeting women and things to do. Simon Parille is great food with many things to do. There is another new restaruant walking distance from Robert's condo Tardes Valle Caucanas located at Avenida 3 and Calle 70. It has great food and small live music every night. The food is similar to Lenos y Carbon in Chipechape. You won't go wrong staying at Robert's condo plus he is one of the most honest men that I have ever met ... george
