2 guys staying here bought chips to convert their phones.They had to be unlocked and also up to some specs,I forget the details.The chips included miniutes that were cheaper than just buying the miniutes.Comcel had them.Bell South no.They can just switch the chip back in the US or other countries. yes, these phones can be used here on cingular or tmobile, plus comcel in colombia, the only thing you do is swap the sim cards. the phones i have are already unlocked so there's no need to do so in colombia, just get the sim and you're ready to go.
