Hello, first time poster!

I plan to marry my Ukranian Fiancee in Kiev where she lives.  I am from
America.  I am filing for Visa/Passport currently.  Lately I am finding
out
that ZAGS requires about a months waiting period until marriage can
take
place (due to paperwork)...Is this correct? I bought my plane tickets,
and
the duration of my stay will be 3 weeks.  I've already left a job for
this
three weeks, so I'm wondering if there is any way possible to get
married in
three weeks.  Preferably two weeks, so I can atleast be with my wife
for a
week.  Any help is greatly appreciated!  Thanks so much,

-Dave

Dave, almost no body lives in Ukraine a month before getting married. A well placed $50 will almost always get the proper documents you need signed to get married.

And if you think this is bad or doesn't happen often I only know of only one marriage out of probably 20 where the guy actually lived in Ukraine for 30 days before getting married. Two guys I know were married with-in 4 days of arriving in Kiev. Everyone does it, it's no big deal. Write me if you want help.

Great news Jack!  Really lifted a huge burden off my shoulders, I appreciate it.  I fly in on the 25th of this month.  On a Friday.  Do you know their hours of operation?  I was hoping maybe I could squeeze in there on Friday so I could get the process started as soon as possible.  Thanks again,

Dave

Depending on when you get in on Friday you might be able to get it done. If you get into airport by 1:30, 2:00pm you might have time to get to the office on Friday. If not you would more than likely have to wait until Monday.

Great.  Do you happen to know what kind of paperwork is required?  From searching on the site it looks just like a birth certificate.  Also translation to all documents.  Thanks a bunch Jack.
