A wonderful New Year prospect available

To any single guys considering going to Peru, and want to avoid the agency stuff (though I'm not sure there are any major agencies there anyways), you might want to consider a wonderful girl I've known for almost two years now.

Her name is Mariella.  She is a very pretty and extremely friendly Peruvian woman who I had been speaking to for some time last year.  I had planned on going to see her, but chickened out!  I did go to Peru, though; but I eventually met and married my current wife.  I had met Mariella on Cherry Blossoms a couple years ago, but at that time I was still hesitant about getting hitched permanently to any one person in particular.

Mariella still keeps in contact, though.  She lives in an upper-class district of Lima, called La Molina.  She is a very mature, funny, has no kids, is a very experienced cook (we talked about this much), and no longer lives with her parents.  In fact, now she lives alone in the home in which her parents and siblings used to live.  She has two pets, and from what I recall, owns a small shop.  In addition, I think her parents are relatively well off, frequently travelling outside the country on business/vacation.  Her musical tastes tend towards 80's American rock music.  She is a reader of sorts, a big fan of Gabriel Garcia Marquez.  And she loves camping, and has travelled to many of the ruins within Peru.

In think she is around 25, 26, or 27 years old--I don't remember exactly.  She has a very light complexion, greenish eyes, and a very nice figure.  She just recently sent me a greeting card with new fotos (head shots, nothing controversial), so if you are interested, let me know.  I have told her that I use this forum, and that I would see if anyone would be interested in communicating with her.

I think it'd be fair to ask, in exchange, that you be a moderately decent looking chap, somewhere in her age range (I think more than 10 years older would be pushing it).  From what I've recently discovered, she is picking up on English quite well.  So, your not knowing much (if any) Spanish would probably not be a problem.

Additionally, she is definitely a non-green card seeker.  Considering where she lives, her family situation, and the numerous conversations we had in the past, she has no incentive to leave the country.  Though, she is not averse to the idea.  

I will keep mentioning her here until one of you guys writes her!  

I have her email address and photos if anyone is interested.  You might want to have some photos available also, as I'm sure she'll ask should you write her.   By the way, she does have her own computer and webcam setup.  No internet cafe worries.

It was a basic question, and a general response.  So, if you've been following this thread, PLEASE don't be angry with any of it.  It is one girl's opinion/preference; nothing political or hurtful intended on her part.

The portion of my letter where I inquired about what kind of chap she would hope to encounter (I used Babelfish to help me out):

"Hay son muchos hombres ahi que quieren viajar a Sur de America.  Espero encontrar a un hombre decente allí, pero necesito tu ayuda en describir en qué clase de hombre puedes ser que esté interesado.  Límite de edad, aspecto, etc."

Her response:
"really the more  important  for  me  is a  good  man whit a wonderful  heart open for  give  and  recive  love .  with many personality  loyal  and honest that  have  the  will  of  have  a good  and serius  relationship for  marry...

maybe  i prefer a  man between 30 to 40or  little  more depend  how  is  this person honest  i not  like  fat   not  like black , not  shorty ,not  very slim mans...hahahah

i like caucasican white  man, tall whit  hair..hahaha...maybe  with hair  blonde ,brown eyes maybe green, blue,  skyblue ..i donknow i not  looking  for  perfect man only for  a good  man..."

Once again, please do not be offended by any of this.  She is simple girl, asked a simple question, and her simple response.

Doombug,
 I am fairly new to this board.  I have not figured out how I can get your email address, or any other person,for that matter.  So, can you please tell me, or give it to me on this board.  As far as this girl, if she is interested, then fine.  Going by your description, she would probably be a nice girl.  But, I am not going to worry about it either.  I am currently emailing several ladies, and am looking into several more.  I am doing this in anticipation of my trip to Colombia.  However, as I had indicated earlier; I am writing a few ladies in Peru, and they are very nice ladies.  It's just that they don't really "fire me up", so to speak.  I think that they would make good friends, but not good novias, for me I mean.  Thanks for your help anyhow.  I guess we will see how this goes.

So, you think the age thing would be a big deal with her?
I am currently writing several different women.  Some are in their twenties and some are not.  I am 51, so I realize that for a woman in her twenties who has never had children, it might be a problem.  I am reasonably nice looking, I think. I am 6 ft tall, 200 lbs.  Brown hair and blue eyes.  But, you know the girl.  Frankly, I would not blame her at all.  But, so many guys on this and other boards talk about the age issue not being a big thing that I at least wanted to ask.  At any rate, let me know.  I am writing other ladies in Peru right now, but they do not "fire me up".  I am also writing some Colombian ladies too.   You just never know until you meet them.

Very nice of you to offer to introduce us to her but....
What?  She would not be interested in a guy who is 20 years older than her?  Why do you think this?

She very well could be interested in any age range.  

I just don't recall exactly if it was one of the original factors SHE considered when I first began speaking with her on Cherry Blossoms--or if she had ever mentioned it since.

i am with you Heat on this one. i did not agree with the comment on the age issue. My novia is 26 and I am 45. no problema -and she is not a green card shark either being independent with a good paying job
