One of my roomates rented another apartment and took the modem to our vonage phone.Calipro brought me another one and we got it hooked back up again. Its free calls to the USand Canada from Cali plus free calls to Cali from the 408 US area code.
Mail me if you want the number.
Anybody in Cali mail me I will get you my phone numbers. We are going to have a Christmas party at my place probably the night of December 25 and a new years party Dec 31.Mail me if you want to come,or stop on by and have a beer.
My one roomate moved as I said and the other is in the states for 3-4 weeks. Its me alone untill 12-24 when the next gringo arives.Lots of guys have talked about staying here but only Brian is reserved as off now,so let me know if you are interested in staying.
Mail me at peiguren@aol.com
Only a week to Christmas.Time flies.I have been here over a year. Not too tough moving to Cali and retiring from work at the same time.I am working on some business ideas.
I will do another set of pictures on Yahoo after Christmas.

Bruce,
Go to Vonage.com
It works through a broadband internet connection. You get assigned a number in any area code you chose in the  US or Canada,or you can even transfer you old number over too it.
Its free calls from whereever your phone is hooked up to the broadband  to the US and Canada for $25 a month. You can call back by calling the assigned number. In my case I have a 408 area code so my family and friends living in that area code can also call me free in Cali.Others pay a toll to 408 or if you have a free national calling plan its free to you also.
My vonage phone in Cali is 408-950-2962.It changed with my newmodem, different than what it was.Its like the phone is in San Jose Ca.
I can also call back to anywhere in Colombia for $.05 a miniute or to a cell phone for $.10 a miniute. My local phone here has a lock on it,We can only call a Cali fixed phone.Thats probably good,if someone picked it up and called the US its probably $5 a miniute.TheVonage phone, free.
Most call throughout the world less than $.10 a miniute.Europe $.05 or $.06
So any guys wanting to stop by,you can use it to call the US free if you want.
My Colombian partner Adrian and I are looking into setting up an internet-phone cafe using this system.
