Patrick, I am not saying that I beleive him or what he posted because it was to short and no real info given, but I am just surprised at how quickly he was attacked. I am interested in why, as I have seen it before, almost anything negative said about Latinas here is automatically dismissed, attacked or judged.

I guess I should have been clearer but my attack was because of exactly what Patrick said.  This guy has posted no real information about the purported scam and his post was full of bad spelling and poor grammar which points to lack of education in my opinon. Come on guys, we are people who have had to learn how to see red flags in women, and this "skill" now gets carried over in other areas, such as sizing up a newbie poster. I know we go round and round whenever someone points out spelling errors, but sometimes spelling errors point to a problem with the person, not just their spelling and that is how I feel about this poster.

That being said, I admit to jumping to conclusions and not taking the high road and giving this guy the benefit of the doubt.  I apologize to rj556, though I realize it is a pretty hollow apology since in this post I further rationalized why I criticized him, but I now regret having said anything so soon.

I have a tendency to misspell when I am upset and also just on gp at times. I don't ever want anyone to think that I think I am perfect and never make a mistake because we all do. I noticed the guy's spelling got worse after his first post which makes sense to me if he felt he was getting attacked (which he was), especially after posting something he was uncomfortable with posting and also because it was his first post. It makes sense to me with it being his first post and because of the subject matter, he would just throw something out there to test the waters. The anonymity of the internet doesn't always transfer over when you are sitting in front of your computer and baring your soul. Sometimes with personal info, you still feel like someone is going to know who you are. After a decent reception, which he didn't get, he might have been more prone to spill the rest of it. Then again, he might be a troll. He might be here to start a Latina witchhunt and have everyone raid the agencies burning catalogs as we go...
