Thanks for those tips.  I've got Latin American Introductions in Bogota.  Is that the LAI you are talking about?  I could note Nelson as the contact.  Is LLM Latin Love Match or Latin Love Mates?  The website www.latinlovemates.com does not come up today.

Hey Dallas,

Sexysafari is not defunct – here is their link: www.sexysafari.net. LDT/BB is part of that group and  I have recommended them here before. But SexyS mostly resells or promote other agencies. Spanisheyes in CR is also part of that group but the owner is a lazy slob in my book although Kented likes them. However, LDT/BB is ok and I see you have them listed under BB. I have also been waiting to see what develops with their group in Maracaibo, VZ

The owner, Tom, could accurately be characterized as a lazy slob.  He is also grossly overweight and speaks not one word of Spanish.  

Purita does the work and she was very helpful to me.  The difference between CR and Colombia uis there are very few agencies in CR and Spanish Eyes is the only show in town.  

I paid about $600 for a one year membership and it was worth it since I lived there and got to use their services frequently.  They are esentially the only show in town.

I joined from the United States after visiting during one trip prior to my move.  They hold weekly parties (now bi-weekly) and I liked Purita who runs in.  

In Costa Rica, I had several dates through Spanish Eyes, went to several of their parties, met ladies who answered a classified ad in the Tico Times, and met women who I met in stores or around town.  

I met my wife when I ducked into the store she worked in to get out of the rain.  Go figure.

Purita had very good instincts.  She called me out of the blue when someone interesting signed up and they were very nice experiences.  She offered observations on religion and culture which helped me understand the subtities of gringo-latina relationships.  

Unlike Colombia there were few options but I felt they did a great job.  Tom is unimpresive but at least he stays out of Purita's way.
