Just found out today our interview date is 12/3/04 also. Has your novia received Packet 4 yet? We sent our Packet 3 documents via Depresa on September 23. I emailed the embassy today and they said they mailed out Packet 4 10/13. My wife hasn't received it yet. They were nice enough to give me our date. I must say that I'm impressed with there response time to my emails. I sent two to them today and received responses on both within a couple of hours. Are you going to the interview?

hi there.  my novia will be at the interview of course, but i wont be able to make it.  i will be there with my girl 11/8-11/21 and again december 12-15 to bring her back with me.  

but as for your quiries:)

she has not received packet 4 yet, however we received correspondence it was mailed on 10/19, the same day we sent and received packet 3.  an insane quick turnaround time i must say. we are very excited.

is your girl from bogota?  mine is from barranquilla.

as for response times.  one was sent 8 days with still no reply, the other (8 days after the first) was sent with a reply same day, so who knows, hehe.

Is yours K1 or K3?  you said wife so im guessing K3

As of 10/22 my wife still hasn't received Packet 4. If she doesn't have it by next Friday I will have her fly to Bogota to pick it up at the Embassy. She is from Cali. I decided to go with her to the interview instead of accompaning her to the states. I fgure more can go wrong at the embassy than at immigration or customs. Besides she is flying into LAX so I'll be close by if there are problems.
