I watch the beauty pagent every year and tape it so that I can rewatch it in the winter monthes. It is amazing that a whole country shuts down for this event.  In the US, it is no longer a big thing and many people think that this type of pageant makes the women look like a piece of beef. They have good curves and beauty and I am going to enjoy it

i'm not that hip on Cartagena but a lot of guys seem to like it if you have not been. the f..g street vendors are far worse than any roosters i encountered in other parts of the country. San Andres is more my speed for the beach

What you said obout the street venders in Cartegena is an understatement. Cartegena has a nice beach with beutiful views of the city and the ocean. But since there are so many annoying venders on the beach it makes me never want to go there again. If there were a law against beach vending I'm sure Cartegena would attract a lot more tourists and hence make more money in the long run.
